"Germany, what are you saying?" America asked as he tilted his head a little. Germany stood back up and lightly pushed the chair torwards the table.

"I think it's best not to tell you, and for you to find out yourself." Germany replied carefully, looking down. "Even I'm not ready to tell you." He then walked to the door.

He then looked back at America. "We better get started."

"What? But didn't UN say-"

"We have no time. Orders or not, we are going to do it. This is for our lives, and for the sake of everyone else in this country. We might as well go now before it's too late." Germany replied firmly before turning the doorknob, opening the door. "Who knows what Soviet is planning to destroy?"

'Germany...

What happened?'

...

After a while, America looked at his hands, filled with shame and guilt.
Slight flashbacks of his memories from when he was younger played once again in his mind.

It was quiet. He was alone.

Everyone else was outside his dorm room doing something while he was just sitting there, suddenly just not knowing what to do.

He had just fully put his trust in his roommate, and now.....

He hesitated once again.

But then he had an idea.

He stood up and walked over to his desk, picking up his phone.
He slowly dialled UN's number again, hands slightly shaking as doubts ran around in his mind.

If people can make even the slightest mistakes they don't want to make, then they can make things right, even if that means facing the problem themselves.

America nervously gripped the phone, waiting for an answer. He thought about what he did just earlier was pretty rude, but hey, he didn't know, so what gives?

Finally, there was an answer. There was a short line of silence before a voice was heard.

"Yes?" It was UN, and she seemed like she was back to normal, but it also seemed like she hasn't fully settled herself on the situation that she was in.

'Was', not 'is'.

America sighed. "Uh...hey, I'm sorry for bringing up that topic earlier. I should've known. I guess my companions' expressions did warn me."

"But look, I wanna talk about this again like normal people just talking about their problems normally." America paused. "Not trying to be rude, but I think it's best if you don't try to forget it, otherwise it would hurt more."

The young American just stood there, holding his face in his hands as he cried.

"Shh...ça va, l'Amérique, elle est déjà là-haut, à te regarder. Même si elle n'a pas pu vous voir, elle pourra toujours voir à quel point vous êtes un grand frère." France tells her son, hugging him while in tears.

Britain, who was really devastated about the news, approached the two. Canada was crying in the background, hugging his maple bottle plushie. Australia and New Zealand were sitting on the couches that were in the hospital room nearby, confused.

"Nada, why is everyone crying?" New Zealand asked in her sweet, adorable voice.

Canada wiped his tears. "I-I...I..." He breaks down once again, hugging his plushie tighter. He was lost for words by the shock.
