From what was supposed to be a one time fling at a party quickly turns into a constant booty call, Gauge and Chloe learn that life without each other isn't a life either of them want to live.
I wake up with a smile on my face and Gauges arms wrapped around me. My mood quickly alters when I realized what I need to do. "Gauge. Gauge" I whisper while judging him awake. "What's up Star" he groggily says. I smile at the nickname and forget what Im doing for a second. "Hey you should go I have to shower and run errands today" I lied. I do this every time. Usually not a big deal it was only a one night thing anyways however this time it definitely stings a little. But I'd rather push someone away than open up my heart and get stomped on so here we are. "Are you kicking me out?" He laughs thinking I'm joking. "Uh yeah" I say awkwardly. He sits up to face me studying my expression. "Oh you're serious. Yeah, okay let me grab my stuff." He says before putting on his jeans jacket and shoes. He sighs before turning back to me. "Well bye my star. You have my Snapchat." He rolls his eyes thinking I won't see before walking out of my apartment. I sigh and lay back in bed getting a huge smell of him. Not his cologne not the sex but of him. His hair his hands just his smell. I only then realize that I'm still wearing his shirt. My heart pangs a little and I quickly try to brush off the feeling. I get attatched too easily to certain people and I suddenly feel very bad for kicking him out like that. I grab my phone and decide to send him a snap.
