I Think I'm Falling In Love

        "Chloeeeee" I hear through my house. It's ashley of course. "Hi honey" i greet her with a smile as we lay on my bed looking at the ceiling. "So how was your date with gauge?" "Oh my god it was perfect he made a whole picnic with wine and everything in Central Park and then we came back to here and watched movies and ate Chinese." "That is literally ideal what the hell chlo" ashley laughs. "Oh my god i forgot to tell you!" I yell sitting up immediately. "What" ashley sits up meeting my demeanor. "Gauge is like famous like he has 1 million followers on this app and he has like a lot of insta followers too like what the hell!" I say still unsure of how it makes me feel. "That's so crazy what the hell" ashley laughs it off. "So does he have any fan girls drooling over him" she teases. "Honestly almost all his followers are girls so it's defiantly intimidating. I don't want his followers getting mad at him or hating me so now the question is when the hell are we gonna let people know we're together? Or are we even together? And do we have to be secretive now? I don't know" i sigh falling back on the bed. "Well i don't know about the famous stuff but do you want to be with him?" She asks rubbing my arm. "I like him. I really do and i can be myself but I'm scared. I don't want to break up i don't want anything bad to happen. I can't take another heartbreak." "Look Chlo, Timmy did you wrong. But you both moved on and now you're best friends again. If you like Gauge than be with him before someone else will. The chase is only fun for so long and I can tell he wants you to be his girlfriend." Ashley is always the best at giving advice. "You're right I'll talk to him tonight." I say feeling much better. "Soooo I was thinking we should get a group of people and go out tonight!! There's this new club that just opened on 5th Avenue!" Ashley says clapping her hands. "That sounds amazing I'll call Gauge" i smile hopping out of bed.

    I hear a knock on the door before Gauge let's himself in. "You guys ready to go?" He asks with a smile. "Yep lets go!" Ashley and I say in unison. We take the subway and in about 15 minutes we're standing in the cold New York sidewalks waiting to be let into this club which let me say is PACKED. We're finally let in and we all head to the bar. The entire night is filled with drinking insane amounts of beer, taking as many shots as we can and dancing like hoodlums with my soon to be boyfriend and my best friend. My life is really looking up right now.

We say our goodbyes to Ashley as she leaves the club with some guy she found attractive. "Wanna go get pizza?!" I say excitedly. "Sure babe lets go" Gauge leads me out of the club with his hand on the small of my back. We take the subway and end up at a pizza place near my apartment. We enter, order and sit down and within 5 minutes we have our pizza considering it's not busy. It is almost 3 am anyways. "Star I need to tell you something" Gauge says a little nervously which is out of character for him. "Sure what's up" i say sending him a warm smile. "Well, we've been doing whatever this is for almost 4 months now and I've never spent so much time with someone and never gotten sick of them. Star I always want to be by you. I can't get enough of you. I've wanted to ask you this for the longest time but it's not as simple as it used to be now." He says looking me in the eye. I feel every word being pounded into my brain. My heart is pounding. He's not gonna ask me out anymore. He's mad that i freaked out about being famous. He wants to hide me now. Oh god I'm going to cry. "Star did you hear me?" Gauge asks eyebrows raised. "I'm sorry I was thinking what?" I say nervously playing with my hands and keeping my eyes low and on the table. "Star I think I'm falling in love with you and I want you to be my girlfriend. I want to show you off to the world and I want to go on dates and be together." He says holding my hands and looking me deeply in the eyes. "Gauge oh my god....." i say. I have no idea what to say. Do i say i love you back? I do love him i just didn't realize until now. "Gauge I love you too and i would want nothing more than to be your girlfriend" i smile so widely my mouth hurts. He immediately stands up picking me up and spinning me around before returning me to my feet and placing a long sweet kiss on my lips. "I love you Star" he smiles pressing his forehead against mine. "I love you too Gauge"
