"YOU GUYS WERE SO COOL!" A boisterous blond named Kaminari exclaimed.
Kirishima placed a clenched fist over his heart, moved by his classmate's loud confession. Wiping a tear of happiness away, the red-haired boy finally spoke.
"Thank you!"
Raiden leaned against a random desk, folding his arms over his chest. He sent the boy an impressed look. "You and Val both work together really well."
Mineta nodded grudgingly from beside Raiden. "Yeah. No wonder you beat us."
"Keep saying things like that and you'll never win!" Raiden frowned at the boy's lack of enthusiasm. He took a step forward, glancing between Valentina and Kirishima. "You may have won now, but next time we'll beat you!"
He peered down at his former teammate. "Right, Mineta?!"
The purple-haired boy seemed to be heartened by Raiden's enthusiasm. "Yeah!"
Valentina raised her eyebrows, at the boy's sudden change in mood. She placed her arm on Kirishima's shoulder, leaning on him slightly. "I'd like to see you try."
Suddenly, a pink-haired girl sprung out of nowhere, surprising the two teams. She placed both hands on Valentina's shoulder's resulting in her stumbling back slightly. Her bright yellow eyes bore into Valentina's amber ones.
"Hi!" She spoke enthusiastically, "I'm Mina Ashido! I thought your battle was amazing! I wish I'd thought of your plan! It was awesome!"
Valentina beamed at the girl, "Wow! I—thank you! It was really a team effort though."
"Ooh. Nice one Kirishima!" Mina sent the boy an impressed look before turning to pounce on Raiden. "Raiden Okumura, right?! Your Quirk is unbelievable!"
The said boy seemed flustered from her proximity but thanked her nonetheless. The majority of the class stood in a large group separated from a few others who were sitting in smaller groups. She frowned slightly when she saw someone sitting alone at their desk.
Katsuki Bakugo.
He glowered at his desk, clenching his fists furiously. Valentina recalled his harsh confrontation with Midoriya. Midoriya was still unconscious when Valentina had visited him in the infirmary. She had attempted to stay with him but was told by Recovery Girl that he would still be passed out for quite a while and that she had better get to class.
