Vince and Nikki arrived home to a silent household, which was a rarity.

Nikki, with his leather jacket awkwardly tied around his waist to cover the large tear in his pants, shamefully lumbered to his room to change into something with substantially less holes. Vince stayed back in the living room to give him his privacy.

When Nikki returned, Vince was curled up on the couch, flipping through TV channels, bored, through half-lidded eyes.

"Wanna watch a movie together?" He asked as Nikki settled next to him. Instinctively, as he always did, he put his arm around Vince's shoulders.

"I don't care what we do, as long as we get to spend time together." Nikki kissed his cheek.

"Aw, Sixxy, you're so sweet!" Vince cooed, tenderly touching his cheek, on the spot where he had kissed him. Letting out a contented sigh, he rested his head on Nikki's shoulder, "You know, I never thought you'd end up with me."

"Me neither."

"Guess I'm just lucky." He chuckled a bit, but then he remembered, "You're questioning, I know, but what if it turns out that you're actually straight?"

"Trust me, Sweetie, I don't think that's gonna happen." He reached over and patted Vince's thigh, close to his knee, reassuringly.

"So you're actually gay?"

"Or at least bisexual." He scoffed, "I don't know, we'll figure out labels later."

"Whatever, you still end up with me at the end of the day." Vince cheered rather calmly, he took Nikki's hand in his, "And that's all I want."

"Me too, Vinnie." Nikki let out a sigh, "Me too."

They peacefully continued watching their movie. Well, Vince did. Nikki was too distracted by him to even care what was going on.

He cast another sideways glance and Vince, watching him chuckle occasionally at something in the movie that Nikki was paying absolutely no attention to.

Vince was so...beautiful. Especially with his soft blonde hair framing his face and flowing down slightly past his shoulders. It was obviously dyed, but Nikki didn't care. He also noticed how he had been teasing his hair a bit simply because Nikki had told him he liked it.

And his eyes, his dark brown eyes that twinkled whenever Nikki merely spoke to him. He remembered the way they shined when Nikki told him how much he loved his voice, for the first time ever, in that crowded club, that night.

Why had it taken Nikki so long to realize he was absolutely smitten?

He recalled how he felt seeing Vince preform for the first time from a booth in the far corner. He thought those feelings would fade, but they we're still there. And stronger than ever.

Then it occurred to him: why was he so determined to change Vince into something he wasn't?

Maybe Vince didn't have to change.

Maybe it was Nikki who had to...

Vince shuffled beside him, briefly distracting him from his thoughts. He shot another quick glance at him.

God, Nikki wanted to kiss him so badly. He thought of what it would feel like; his heart fluttered at the mere idea of it.

Nikki decided to shoot his shot. There was no use in waiting for a perfect moment, because it would never arrive, "Hey, uh, Vinnie..."
