I walk along the castle halls in a daze, I could feel my hope beginning to slip away. Malik has not awaken yet, instead he's been in a sweaty sleep for the past few days.

"(Y/N)." I hear a familiar voice say behind me. I turn around seeing a familiar man in white robes, "What is it Altair?" I question

"Mentor wishes to speak with you." He answers, his tone as cold as usual.

I turn around, walking past him, "Thank you I'll be on my way." I feel a hand grab onto my wrist, stopping me in place.

I sigh, "What is it?"

Altair seemed hesitant, "Look ... I'm sorry alright. I didn't mean to put the blame on you."

I forced out a small smile, "Look whose swallowing his pride for once."

"Oh shut up and take the apology." Altair said, looking away and letting go of my wrist.

"Then consider apology accepted." I say, before walking away, heading towards the library. I walk into the room, going up to the desk where the old man sat. "You called for me?" I ask, crossing my arms.

"Yes, the templars have located another location of a piece of eden. I was wondering if you would be interested in retrieving it?" Al Mualim asked, standing up from his chair.

"Where is it?" I question, leaning on one leg.

"A bit far, the location of their camp for the time being is miles away from Jerusalem." Al Mualim informed, placing his hands behind his back.

My eyes narrowed, "That would be suicide, there are hundreds of soldiers in that one camp."

"You are highly skilled, I'm sure you can get the information on your own."

"I am skilled, but I'm not that skilled. I can't just charge in alone, I would get killed before even reaching the camp." I retorted.

"So you would need a team. I can arrange that." Al Mualim says, seeming to get lost in thought, placing a finger on his chin.

"No." He looked up at me in surprise. "We wait till they separate. There would be fewer men and more penetrable." I say, relaxing my shoulders.

"Then we shall wait." Al Mualim says, walking over and sitting back down in his chair.

I hear rapid footsteps, a novice bursting into the room, out of breath. "Lady (Y/N). It's about Malik!" The novice stopped speaking, trying to regain his breath.

I walk over to him fear and hope shining in my red and blue orbs. "What about him?" I ask, looking at the novice expectantly.

"He's awake." The novice gasped out.

My eyes widened, I run past the novice and out of the library. I run out of the castle, making my way towards the doctor's house. I bust through the door, closing it behind me, I ran upstairs before slowing down to a stop.

I watch as the doctor walks out of Malik's room, he noticed me in an instant and smiled softly. He patted my shoulder gently as he walked past, "He's tired, so don't strain him too much."

I nod, cautiously walking into the room, knocking on the door gently. Malik, his face returning to its normal tanned tone, looked over. His eyes were hard, I flinched from his gaze, getting ready to back out of the room. "Don't go." I hear Malik say, a hint of anger in his voice.

I then sigh, if I was going to get yelled at, might as well be now rather than later. I walked up to his bed side, sitting down in a chair. "Why didn't you come? Why couldn't you save us!?" Malik questioned with a growl, anger burning in his black eyes.
