"Are you sure the apple is there?" I questioned, my arms crossed looking at the old man with suspicion.

"My sources say they are. Now I'll ask again, will you be willing to participate in this mission?" The old man asked, standing up from his desk.

I offer the old man a small smile, "No, I trust your master assassin can lead this mission."

As if on cue an assassin dressed in white robes, similar to what I wear, came into the room calmly. "You called me mentor?" The man questioned.

He nodded to me in a hello kind of way, before looking back at the old man. "Yes I have a mission for you." He began, I walked away, walking out of the library.

I came face to face with two assassins, both wearing similar robes. "Are you joining us (Y/N)?" One asked with a bright smile.

"Sorry Kadar, but I'm skipping out in this mission. You'll be going with Altair." I inform them.

Kadar smiled brightly, "Really!? Yes!"

"Ugh, great him." The man next to him spoke, not sounding too pleased about who he was paired with.

"Oh he's not that bad." I giggle, before walking away from the both of them. "Have fun you two." I said with a small wave as I continued walking down the hall, my smile fading.

I walk out of the large castle, walking over towards the training arena where novices were battling it out. I placed my hands on my hips, watching two novices fight with wooden staffs in their hands. Their movements were sloppy, not to mention how they hardly even parry one another attack. It was like watching two monkeys swinging sticks around.

I let out a sigh, walking up to the trainer, "Stop the fight." I ordered. Might as well teach a few things to these ... children before I leave on my own personal errand.

The trainer held up his hands calling out, "Stop fighting novices!"

"What!? I almost had him!" One complained loudly in frustration, glaring up at the trainer.

"Oh please, you weren't even close." I comment, jumping over the fence that lined the ring. The two novices attention turned to me.

"Who are you?" One questioned, annoyance in his voice.

"A fellow assassin." I simply answered, shrugging my shoulders.

"You? You're a girl!?" The one that complained before growled.

"What's wrong with that?"

"Girls can't be assassins." He replied.

I roll my eyes, then an idea popped in mind. I was simply going to lecture these idiots but it looks as if I have to beat the lesson in them. I let out a sigh, "Yet they let monkeys in." I gesture to the to of them, placing a hand on my hip.

"Is that a challenge?" One questioned, tightening his grip on his staff.

"Oh no, I wouldn't want to embarrass you in front of your brothers." I say with a smirk.

"That's it." They both charged forward, raising their staffs. I yawn, acting as if I wasn't paying attention. Once they got close, they swung down their staffs, I turned my body to dodge both attacks.

One twisted staff to try and hit me with the other end, however I blocked it with my arm and swung my foot, kicking him in the gut. He fell backward, landing on the ground with a loud thump. The other novice swung his staff like a club, I caught it then pulled the staff, dragging him along the floor, then I released the staff. He stumbled a little but didn't fall.
