a soulmates au ( Deere)

So, basically, to know if someones your soulmate, they have to touch you.

Jeremy sat in his room working on a project about soulmates. He didnt know how he was going to do it, he was the only one in his class who hasnt found his soulmate. He remember trying to talk to his teacher, but as usual the teacher just told him to talk to a friend or family member who has found his soulmate. He considered asking his dad or his step mom Heidi, about it. They had met as teenagers when they found out they were soulmates. Jeremy never understood why they went their separate ways, but even then, if they didnt, him Evan and Isabelle wouldn't be here would there? He groaned and layed back on his back. He grabbed his phone after feeling it vibrate and opened it to a text from Rich and Michael.

Rich: You guys should come over and meet some of my friends.

Player 1: oh yeah i guess that sounds fun

Jeremy: why am i being invited?

Rich: because your Michaels best friend and i know how he is with meeting new people.. you gonna come or not?

Jeremy groaned. He was being asked to meet other snobby popular kids.

Player 1: Oh come on Jeremy please? It'll fun. And if you dont like it we can leave and go to my house and play videogames or smthin

Jeremy: christ okay your driving though, im omw.

~TIMESKIP BECAUSE I DONT WANT THIS TO BE TOO LONG~

They pulled into the parking lot of a two story house.
" christ... that house is big..." Jeremy mumbled getting out of the car. He felt a hand come down on his shoulder and he jumped to the side looking back at Rich.
" chill out Heere... " Rich said with a small laugh as he walked in. Michael walked up to Jeremy and gently pat his shoulder.
" hey maybe you'll find your soulmate"
" literally fuck off Michael" Jeremy mumbled at the joke. They walked inside. There were 4 people who Jeremy recognized almost immediately. Jake Dillinger, Chloe Valentine, Brooke Lohst and Jenna Rolan. Wow this'll be fun.
" what is up my dudes!" Rich yelled running up to Jake, giving him a large bro hug. They all talked for a few minutes while Jeremy and Michael awkwardly stood by the door
" who are these cuties?" Brooke said with a small smile. Jeremys eyes widened. him. Cute? Wow.
" my soulmate Michael " Rich said walking over to Michael, wrapping an arm around him dramatically, making Michael lightly blush and awkwardly wave.
" and his best friend Jeremy" Rich said lightly smacking Jeremys arm. Jeremy flinched and awkwardly his arm where Rich smacked him, waving. Jake took a step towards them extending a hand to Michael, who nervously shook it. Once he extended his hand to Jeremy, Jeremy looked at Michael and slowly reached his hand out to shake Jakes hand. Once their hands touched, there was a shock, making them both jump back. Jeremy shut his eyes tightly, rubbing his head due to the headache he suddenly had got.
" holy shit" he heard Jake say, his voice shaking. As soon as he opened his eyes he was greeted with something new. Colors. Jeremys eyes darted across the room taking in the new view.
" holy shit... i was right!! Jeremy!!!" Michael said with a grin lightly shaking Jeremys arm. Jeremy was too overwhelmed by the new sight. The whole room went quiet whenever Jake and Jeremys eyes met.
" do you uh....wanna go... talk??" He said awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. Jeremy nodded, still recovering from the shock and Jake lead him to a bed room and they sat and talked. It didnt take long before they were lightly punching eachother with small laughs and fond smiles. Eventually they came out to talk to the others, once it processed they were soulmates.
" well glad you found your soulmate but uh.... i kinda told my moms I'd be back before 8...." Michael said laughing abit. Rich pouted abit then shrugged
" okay, lets get you two home then" he said. Jeremy and Jake looked at eachother and let out a small laugh.
" uh... y-yeah i gotta go... it uh... was nice meeting you.." Jeremy managed to stutter out. Jake nodded then immediately pulled out his phone. They exchanged numbers. Jake smiled and said his goodbye and walked to go talk to the others. Michael pulled Jeremy out of the house, and as soon as they got to the car, started screaming.
" HOLY SHIT!! DUDE!!! YOUR SOULMATE!!!" He laughed turning in the seat to look at Jeremy. Jeremy replied by just screaming and covering his face. Rich said his goodbyes then went to the car.
" JAKE FUCKING DILLINGER IS YOUR SOULMATE, YOU ARE ONE LUCKY FELLOW JEREMIAH HEERE" he yelled, laughing. Jeremy laughed abit and checked his phone once he felt it buzz. Rich pulled out of the driveway and drove them home.

Jake: hey Jeremy? Since we're soulmates and all.. would you like to grab some sbarros sometime next week? Either a date or just to get to know eachother, im cool with both.

Jeremy felt his face go hot. He stared at his phone for a few minutes quietly before replying.

Jeremy: yeah sure sounds great! Im cool with whatever too

He facepalmed. It sounded kinda dorky. Michael opened the door for Jeremy. Jeremy hadnt even noticed they were at Michaels house.
" earth to Jer, we're heere lets go!" He said laughing. Jerrmy unbuckled his seat and got out, quietly thanking Rich. Michael went to Richs window and they talked for a few minutes before kissing, and Michael walked inside, with Jeremy behind him as Rich drove off. Jeremy explained what had happened to Michael.
" the start of a beautiful relationship.. im the best man at your wedding dude" he said lightly elbowing Jeremys arm. Jeremy covered his face mumbling about how hes gonna kill him. Maybe Michael was right, maybe one day they'd get married.  Or it could end in disaster and Jeremy never talks to his soulmate ever again.  No Michael would probably make sure that didnt happen, but they'll just have to see what happens.

IM SORRY THAT WAS REALLY LONG I JUST HAD A BUNCH OF IDEAS LMAO but i hope you enjoyed this oneshot story!
