Chapter 12. The Unexpected Is Usually The Best

Dev's POV:

The bright sun burned my raw eyes as I opened them. Yet I smiled at where we were. My legs were entangled with Niall's and I could hear his slow heart beat. "Goodmorning Love." He said sweetly. "Goodmorning Nialler." I mumbled as I looked to the sea infront of me. "Have a nice sleep?" He asked. "Mhm. I think my best yet." I said. "Y'know, I forgot to give you something yesterday." He said. I sat up and cracked almost every bone in my body. "What is it?" I asked eagerly. He sat up and adjusted himself so he could have his eyes on mine. He took out this long rectangular box from his pocket and held it out in front of me. His smile was ear to ear as he slowly opened the box. I covered my mouth in shock. The necklace was so cute. It was a gold necklace with an envelope pendant that had a card that said I love you coming out of it. "It's so cute Niall." I squealled. "You like it?" He asked unsure of his present. "I love it!" I pulled him in a hug. He chuckled. I pulled back and carefully took the necklace from the box. "Help me?" I asked giving him the necklace. He nodded and I turned around and lifted my hair up. He hooked the necklace in the back of my neck and gave me a little peck on the shoulder. I put my hair done and turned back to him. "This is just a reminder that you are loved by alot of people especially me." He said. My eyes started to water. "Thank you so much Nialler." He gave me his infamous Horan hug that I couldn't get enough of. "Now, we better get going. It's 10:00 and you don't want the lads to get worried about us." He said. We both got up and I grabbed my things. To my surprise, Niall already ordered a car to pick us up. We went back to the hotel. "Come to our room after you leave your things." Niall said walking to his room. I nodded with a smile and went back to my room. I put my things down and got into some sweats. I took off my makeup and put my hair up in a messy bun. I stolled down the hall and found their door slightly cracked open. I opened the door fully and everything just went black. Something fell on my head and I got drenched from head to toe.Then I felt something powdery get thrown on me and I felt things get pelted at me all in five seconds. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" I screamed. I heard laughing and I still had that thing on my head that blocked my vision. I walked a couple of steps and slipped straight on my back. I groaned in agony. "GOT YOU HARRY!" I heard all of them scream. Now, I was furious. I steadily stood up and threw the thing off my head. In one second, they turned from laughter to shock and embarrasement. "You fuckers!" I screamed at them. "Oh my gosh. We are so sorry Dev. This was for Harry." All of them apologized and it was all chaotic. "Save the apologies. You guys are lucky, I can take a prank." I said. They all laughed which made me giggle. I probably looked ridiculous. "I'm going to go take a shower." I walked out the room and went to mine. I stripped in disgust. I felt icky and sticky, and my hair was horrible. I stepped into the shower and took an extra long bath. I hopped out and dried myself off with a towel. I took my clothes from my suitcase and changed. I wore black hot pants with a thick belt. I tucked in my see through sheer button up black floral shirt and under that I had a strapless sequenced bra. I slipped on my black strappy gladiator sandals and started with my makeup and hair. I put very little makeup and put my hair in a fishtail braid letting my bangs practically cover my right eye. I went back into the living room and got on my computer. I checked twitter and looked at my mentions. A few hateful ones and a few really sweet ones. I replied to a few questions and followed a few people. I also put the pictures up of me and Niall and me and Harry. After chatting it up with eleanor and danielle over twitter, I looked at a few other mentions. I scrolled through a few till I found one that really struck me.
