Black Cat [ONHOLD]

Chapter 2

Kyoko:

Every after school I always saw the cat at the gate but when I approach it, he always rans away... I want to keep the cat, but maybe it has already an owner waiting for him/her here at school. I sighed.

Days has passed, it was always the same... My classmates still bullies me. But I just have to fight, it's almost graduation... I wonder if my parents can come. I can't wait to graduate and enter high school and meet new friends. I will change myself. That's a goal.

"Yosh," I clenched my fist getting fired up thinking of my goal... But there's a problem... How will I change myself? I can think about it sooner, but first I need to inform my parents if they can come at my graduation...

I dialed my parent's number and waited for them to answer...

"H-Hey mom," I said stuttering.

"What's wrong, Kyoko?" She replied.

"I-I thought that you and dad can come to my graduation..." I gulped the lump on my throat while waiting for an answer...

"Sure Kyoko!" I was surprised by my mom's answer...

"R-Really? You and dad can come?" I was so overwhelmed that I was already shouting, making the students look at me.

"Haha~ of course we must not miss your graduation... Right honey?" I can hear that dad get the phone from mom...

"Haha! Of course I can't miss it! I have to see my daughter!" I smiled at the thought of dad missing me... I really miss them... I remember the day they told me to transfer here in Japan...

~FLASHBACK~

(Speaks in english XD)

"Dad why are you sending me to Japan?!" I said in a sad but high tone...

"I'm sorry Kyoko but I want you to adapt in Japan where I came from..."

"But-!"

"You will just have to adapt there... You need to learn the culture there, simple as that. Don't worry we will support your daily needs."

"How about mom?! Did she agree on this?!"

Then mom came out, "Yes we have. I'm sorry but this is for your own good..." She said like she wasn't sure of what she said...

"My friends! How about them?!"

"You will make friends there, I'm sure about it..." Dad said while patting my head... I was trying to stop my tears but I can't...

~End of Flashback~

I really miss my friends... Again, I sighed... Forgetting that dad's still on the phone...

"What's wrong, Kyoko?" Then I was brought to my senses.

"N-Nothing dad."

"Are you sure?"

"Of course!"

"Do your best at school!"

"Yes dad."

'Give me the phone.' I heard what mom said.

"Ok... I will give the phone to your mom."

"Hello Kyoko?"

"Yes mom."

"We miss you..." After hearing those words, my eyes was blurred... I was crying. I tried to hold it in but I really can't.

"M-Me too..." I was crying hard...

"I'm looking forward to your graduation."

"Yes mom." Then I ended the call.

Even though I'm crying there's a part of me that is happy... I will really have to survive middle school. I can do it! While I was going home, again I saw the cat near the park...

"What are you doing here?" I patted his head... "Where's your owner?" He just meowed. "You don't have one?" I carried him and sitted at the bench. He was curling up. I hugged him to my chest. "Meow?" He was touching my face using his paws.

"Are you worried about me?"

"Meow," the cat replied. I giggled. Having someone cares for you really feels good.

I looked at my watch and I gasped at the time.

"Oh my! It's almost 6! Mr. Cat want to come with me?" Again he just meowed, but he jumped off and rans away...

"Mr. Cat!" I shouted but he never came back. I guess he does have an owner. I was sad but playing with the cat was fun.

I took my bag and leave. "Time to go home."
