Chapter 4

Kyoko

It's already our break from middlle school. Right now, I'm alone at my apartment...

"Man, it's boring." I sighed. Should I go to the mall? Hmmm... I heard my phone ring and saw Kisara's name flash on my phone... Wonder why I got her number? She's been pestering me at the party.

~FLASHBACK~

It was so noisy here at our rented place, the guys were flirting with the girls and the others was just chatting. I was drinking juice at the party when Kisara sat beside me.

"Ne ne Nadeshiko-san, can I call you Kyoko?"

"No." I replied. This girl is annoying.

"Eh~? Why?" She was complaing while pouting.

I put down my drink. "Kisara-san, just because we already made up doesn't mean we're friends..."

She was taken back from what I said but, "Eh~ Nadeshiko-san you're so cold... If you don't want to be called Kyoko, then can I have your mail address?" This girl can't be down easily.

"I know you can't accept me as a friend after what I've done but at least accept my sincerity."

I took out my phone. "Fine." Then we exchanged mail address.

"Hehe~ thanks~" She was grinning and I was surprised. Maybe she really meant what she said.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

I answered the call. "Kyoko speaking."

"Kyoko-chan!" She shouted. Damn, my ear hurts.

"What is it Kisara-san? And please don't call me 'Kyoko-chan'."

"Eh~? Then call me Yui, now we're fair." I can imagine that she's smiling.

I sighed, "Fine Yui-san."

"It's better if you drop the '-san' part but it's okay. By the way, wanna go to the mall?"

Hmmm I was planning on going, should I agree? That's right... "I will go with you, on one condition."

"Really? What's the condition?" Ok, she took the bait. I grinned, this is gonna be fun.

[TIMESKIP]

At the mall.

"Kyoko-chan aren't you full already?" Yui whined.

I gulped my food before speaking, "What? You agreed on my condition."

"I know but you're eating too much." Yui looked at the piled plates at our table.

"Don't worry. I don't get fat easily." I said taking another bite.

She sighed, "I thought you're condition is to buy you some cute clothes but you only wanted to eat. I guess you're not that interested in fashion..."

I slurpped my milkshake... "Don't worry about the clothes... My mom is a fashion designer."

"Heh~ that's amazing! What's your mom's name?"

"Lorrie Nadeshiko."

"Lorrie, Lorrie, Lorrie... Hmmm, sounds familiar." She was thinking hard.

"Ah! Lorrie Nadeshiko! L-style! You're her daughter?!" I was scared when she shouted suddenly.

"Keep your voice down. People are looking."

"Ah sorry. So you're her daughter? Really?" I nod.

"That's really amazing! Is she here in Japan? Can I meet her? I really love her designs!" She's making a fuss out of it...

"Sorry but my mom's not here, and my dad also."

"I see... So you live on your own?"

"Yeah."

"Ne, can I visit you sometimes?"

"Huh? Why?"

"Cause we're friends." She smiled.

"Ok." Wait Kyoko, why did you agree? Now you'vew grown attach to her. I facepalmed at the thought.

"Oh, it's Johnny over there!" She pointed at a blond boy. "Johnny! Johnny! Over here!" Oi oi don't call that blond boy over here...

He noticed Yui and started walking over here.

"Heh~ Nadeshiko-san you really getting along well with Yui." Seeing his face pisses me off.

"Yeah something like that." Keep your cool, Kyoko...

"Hear this Johnny, Kyoko is the daughter of my favorite fashion designer!"

"Really? That Lorrie Nadeshiko..."

"Yes, her."

He looked at me from head to toe and looked around then I saw his smug look. "Being a daughter of a fashion designer, you eat big."

This boy really pisses me off... I stand up slamming the table. "Yui-san are you done paying the bill?" My brows is twitching because of this blond boy.

"E-Eh? Not yet." I grabbed her hand. "Then let's pay."

I knew it, his attitude won't really change!
