Chapter 9

Kyoko:

I've been here in my room for how many minutes thinking what to do about Mr. Cat... Wait! I don"t even know his name and he's staying with me?! I scratched my head at the horrifying situation. Should I ask him? No no no, it's too embarassing to ask now and he's in his room. But it's my apartment, why can't I barge in his room?! Yosh, I'll ask him. I stand up, opening the door of my room. I'm now facing his room... Now what do I do?! My hands were sweating from the nervousness. For now I should ask his name.

*knock knock*

"Come in."

I composed myself and opened his room, finding him reading some books. I gulped the lump on my throat and spoke. "S-Since you're staying with me until you're gonna find a place, can I ask your name?" Idiot! What are you stammering for?! I gasped when I remember that he can read my mind. Way to go Kyoko... I blushed.

"First my name is Kyo Kuro. Second I don't have any place to go. And third I can only read your  mind from time to time." He stated.

So his name is Kyo, he doesn't have any place to go, and he doesn't always read my mind--- wait what?! I facepalmed. What a fool...

"Hey Kyoko..." He called me.

"What?" I replied plainly.

He held his stomach, "I'm hungry is dinner ready?"

I was stunned for a moment then burst out laughing, "Hahahaha!" He only tilted his head.

"Sorry for laughing out loud *wipes tears at left eye* I will prepare it now, it'll only take few minutes." I said patting his head. "Then I will return the books and help you." He said and returned the books.

"Then I will go to the kitchen." I pointed outside his room and headed in the kitchen.

(Meanwhile at the kitchen)

"What will I cook for tonight?" I asked to myself and think. "I should look at the refrigerator."

There's meat, fish, potatoes, fresh vegetables, and others. I should make croquettes, vegetable salad, and fried fish.

"Yosh." I took out the ingredients and prepared it right away. I was currently cooking when Kyo entered the kitchen.

"What can I help?"
