Pepper's POV
I wake up around 10 o'clock the next morning and felt a heavy arm laying on me. I try to get out from under the arm, but Connor just pulls me closer. I still struggle, and finally get out of the practical choke hold Connor had me in. I see my camera which I had totally forgot I had brought. I grab it, and hit record.
(A/N when she does a vlog it will be italics)Hey munchkins whats up it's been forever. (turns the camera towards Connor) Look at sleepy boy here, we didn't get home till like eleven last night. Last night we went out on a date for our one year anniversary. And guess what? (shows off the ring) I promise its not an engagement ring. It's a promise ring. How cute is that? You might notice I'm in a different bedroom than usual. I'm taking a visit to West Virginia for a week. It was DCI weekend. (Connor groans, and says) Babe who are you talking to? (Turns the camera towards him again and I say) I'm vlogging say hi. (Connor puts the pillow over his head and says) No, babe hurry up and finish I want to cuddle. (I say) fine well apparently I have to go WELLLLLLLLLLL BYEEEEEEEEE munchkins.
I turn off the camera , and sit the camera back on the bedside table, and say to myself "I will upload this later." Apparently Connor heard me talk to myself, because he turns around, and says "It's cute when you talk to yourself." Then turns back around so he is facing the other way. I say "I thought you wanted to cuddle?" Connor turns back around and says "Yes I do." He puts his arms around me and pulls me close to his chest. He says to me "Babe you feel cold, are you cold?" I say in the most sarcastic voice ever "No, I'm just always cold you know." He unwraps his arms from me, and gets up, and goes to the closet, and grabs another blanket and puts it on the bed, then crawls back in and wraps his arms back around me. I curl up to his chest, and right as I was about to fall back asleep I heard crying from downstairs. "Babe do you hear that?" I asked him as I got up and put a fuzzy house coat on and tied it around my waist. "Yea I do. Is someone crying?" He asked me getting up, and putting pajama pants and a plain white t-shirt. We walk downstairs to see Christine and Brandon sitting in the same seat. Carter crying into her mom's arms and Ross rubbing her back. "Oh my god! Carter what's the matter!?!?" I asked as I kneeled down in front of her and Anita. Carter says while sniffling "My Mama Pain died." I get up, and go over to her, and Anita, and give them both hugs, and let Carter cry on my shoulder. "S-she was m-my best f-friend." Carter said crying even more and hiccuping a little. "Hey, It's going to be alright." Anita said pulling Carter away from me and pulling Carter into her arms, having tears streaming down her face.
"I miss her mom." Carter said into her mom's cheat. "I know sweetie, I know. I miss her very much to." Anita started running her hand through Carter's hair. "I wish I could've seen her one more time." Carter looked back up to her mom with sadness and guilt all over her face.
I looked over and saw Connor sitting in the floor behind me and Christine and Brandon are no longer in the room. Hmmm.... I wonder where they went to. Ross moved over to the other side of carter and pulled her into his arms.
"Baby. Everything's gonna be alright. You know she loves you. I bet she doesn't want you crying. She would want you to be happy and live your live. She lived her's and it was time for her to go. Now it's time to live your's until it's your time." Ross said as he rocked her a little. I sat on Connor's lap and watched her.
"Mom, my head hurts." Carter said looking at her mom with sadness, guilt, and pain in her eyes.
"Ok sweetie I'll go home and bring you some. I want to let you know that Mama Pain told me to tell you that she loved you very much. I'll be back in a little bit." Carter nodded her head and looked at the floor. Anita kissed Carter's head, got up and left.
"Baby you should lay down for a little." Ross said moving her hair out of her face. She nodded and raised her arms in the air like a little kid. Ross chuckled and picked her up as she wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist. Me and Connor got up and followed them.
