Well this weekend Carter and Danielle had a bonfire. Let's just say that was an experience I will never forget in a good way. I got there before Erica this time, only because she had to stop at the store for snacks, and before that she was hanging out with JC. When I got there I saw Carter sitting on her porch with Ross. "Hey Carter where's Dani?" I asked. "She went somewhere." Carter said. "She said she would be back by 4, its almost 6." I explained. "I know, and she also said that she wanted people to show up between 4 and 5." Carter said in a really sassy tone. "Well do you remember the daycare I worked at the beginning of the school year?" I asked. "Yeah, the one you had to quit when your grades started dropping?" Carter asked with a smug look on her face. "Yes and shut up about that." I say, then all of a sudden we hear a CRRRRACCCKKK. We look over and Ross is laying on the porch with a dazed look on his face. Carter runs over to him and says "Oh my gosh babe are you ok?" Ross says "Yeah, but I think I broke the chair." I start dying laughing at the point. Carter looked over at me again with an evil look. I say "Why are you so grouchy today, is it your time of the month I think it is." Carter says "No it's not your just annoying me!!!" She runs off to the backyard where the bonfire is supposed to take place. Ross runs after her, and I'm left sitting on the porch crying. Finally Danielle pulls into the driveway. She gets out of the truck, and runs over to me and says"Oh My Gosh Pepper whats wrong?" I say inbetween sobs "Apparently I'm annoying Carter!!" Danielle asks "Where did she go sweetie?" I answer "Into the backyard." I see Danielle go into the backyard to find Carter, then all of a sudden I hear "CARTER DAWN THORTON, PEPPER IS OUT ON OUR FRONT PORCH BAWLING HER EYES OUT!!! YOU KNOW SHE IS SENSITIVE GO AND APOLOGIZE RIGHT NOW!!" Then I hear Carter scream "YOU ARE NOT MY MOTHER YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!!" Then I hear Dani say "DUDE SHE HAS BEEN YOUR BEST FRIEND FOR 6 YEARS NOW,SO GO APOLOGIZE!!!" Then I hear Carter say "FINE!! IF IT WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY." I had never heard them argue like this before, and she sure as heck has never got annoyed at me like this before. When I heard her say "Fine! If it will make you happy." it made me cry even more, because I knew it wouldn't be truthful, so I ran off to the lot across the road from their house. I hear Carter scream "Danielle she's not her where you said she was." Danielle said "Well she should be. Where could she have gone?" "Dani she could be in the house I will go check." Carter said. I knew Danielle would check over here, so I ran up to the loft in the barn, and hid in the hay. I heard Danielle yell "Pepper are you in here?" I don't answer, I look down , and she walks out the door, and back across the street. I come down from the loft, and see Dani crying. I hear her say "See what you did Carter, you made her run away." She starts sobbing again. Erica pulls in the driveway, and so does our friend Marcus, they see Danielle crying and ask whats wrong. "Carter got annoyed at Pepper and yelled at her which made her cry, and then I guess she heard us arguing and ran off, and we can't find her." I hear Erica say "Carter why did you get annoyed at her, you never do." Carter says "I don't know, and now I feel bad about it. I wish I could apologize for real." I pop out from behind the tree I was hiding behind and say "You can I'm right here." Danielle runs over to me, and slaps me while giving me a hug "OK OWWW what did you do that for?" "You scared the crap out of me, where did you go?" Danielle asked me her voice still shakey. "I was in the loft of the barn hiding, I knew when you two where argueing that when she would come and apologize it wouldn't be true." Then Carter came over to me and gave me a hug and said "Honey I'm sorry I don't know why I was so annoyed with you, and I really am sorry. Will you forgive me?" "Yes Carter I will forgive you now come on lets go get our bonfire on!!!!!"
