* The Next Day*
Pepper's POV
I'm sitting at home watching The Royals when my phone buzzed. I picked up my phone and see that Connor texted me asking if he can come over. I texted back saying sure and jumped in the shower. I got out, got dressed and went downstairs into the kitchen and poured me a glass of orange juice. A minute later Connar burst through the door breathing heavily like he ran all the way here.
"I have some really big news!!!" Connor spoke once he caught his breath.
I sit on the stool very calmly. "What is it?" I asked taking a drink of my OJ.
"I'm going on tour with Markiplier, Jackcepticeye and your brother!!!!" He yelled excitedly.
I almost choked on my OJ when he said that. I jumped off the stool, ran over to him and jumped in his arms. "On my god! Babe, that's amazing!!!"
He hugged me very tightly and kissed me on the lips and set me down gently. "I'm also wondering if you would like to join me. We leave in a couple months."
I kissed him sweetly on the lips. "I would love too." "Awesome!! I got to go and tell Cj and everyone else. Bye babe." He quickly kissed me and ran out the door.
I smiled at his excitment and realized that I didn't check the mail. I walk outside and grabbed the mail scrolling through them as I walked back in the house and sat at the table. I came across one that was mine and saw that it was a letter from....
Le Cordon Blue Cooking Institute.
I completely forgot that I filled out an application for that. I ripped the letter open and started reading.
I dropped the letter on the table completely paralyzed......
Carter's POV
I woke up to by brothers voice. "CARTER GET UP! IM LEAVING FOR WORK AND THERES A LETTER ON THE TABLE FOR YOU!"
I groaned and got up. "OK BYE!" I responded back. I walked out the room into the kitchen and made me a bowl of Reeses's Puffs, went to the table and sat down. I took a bit of my cereal and opened the letter.
I spit food all across the table "WHAT!? I DID IT! I GOT ACCEPTED TO HAVARD! IM GOING TO HAVARD!" i m so freaking excited about this that I had to tell Pepper. I wiped my mouth and ran out the house with the letter in my hand and barefoot and busted through Pepper's door and saw her sitting at the table. I ran up to her jumping, shoving my letter in her face.
"PEPPER I GOT ACCEPTED!!! I GOT ACCEPTED TO HAVARD! I GOING TO HAVARD!" I was so excited that I was running out of breath. I waited to calm myself down and noticed that Pepper didn't even react. I pulled a chair out and sat next to her.
"Pepper what's the matter?" I asked and saw a piece of paper in her hands.
"I got in..." She whispered.
I took the paper that was in her hands and read it. "Oh my god Pepper you got in! Im so happy for you!" I hugged her and she hugged back but she wasn't that excited about it.
"Carter, I go at the end of summer. That's in four months. I just found out that Connor is going on a world tour and he's leaving in two months. He's going to be gone for a whole year. He asked me to go with him and I said yes. But then I found out about this and when I tell him that I can't go...he'll be crushed..."
I made her look at me "Pepper, this is college. This is your career. I know it's hard but when you tell Connor he will understand. Pepper you can't give this up. It's a once and a life time opportunity. I am telling you this because I am your best friend and I want what is best for you. Do not go on tour with him. It may hurt him. If you guys split apart, you never know what will happen in the future. You guys could see each other again. But its your choice...."
Pepper looked at the ground and I saw a tear run down her cheek. I wiped it off and gave her a big hug. "I also leave at the end of summer too. So how about we make dinner and invite Connor and Ross and we can tell them together?" I asked. She nodded and we both got dressed in nice clothes, did each others hair and make up. I texted the boys to dress nice and come to Pepper's house after work for dinner and they agreed. We made lasagna, garlic bread and other good stuff.

Six o'clock came we got the table all set up nice and pretty. We were waiting for the boys to pull up.
"Carter.. I'm scared." Pepper looked at me like she was going to break down any second. I hugged her and told her that everything was gonna be okay. A couple minutes later Ross pulled in the driveway. When he got the porch, I opened the door.
"Hi baby. I hope your hungry." I said as he kissed me and hugged me. "I'm starving and it smells sooo good. What is all of this foor?"
"I'll explain everything after we eat." I told him.
"You guys go ahead and sit down I'll wait for connor." Pepper said and pushed us away.
By the next ten minutes, Connor showed up and were eating dinner enjoying the night. When everyone was finished I decided I will tell Ross my news first.
"Excuse me everyone I have an announcement to make!" I said as I stood up from my seat. "I got accepted to Havard!" I could not stop smiling. "What!? Are you serious!?" Ross asked with shock all over his face. I nodded me head and he ran over picked me up and spun me around. "Baby I'm so happy for you!" He sat me down gently. "I'm so proud of you." Ross said smiling at me and kissed my lips then my head. "I'm going to be an art major and I'm leaving in four months." I said to him. "Don't worry baby. We can make this work. Ill come visit you on the holidays and when I'm free." He said smiling at me.
Pepper stood up nervously and looked at me with fear. I nodded my head telling her that's its time.
"I also have something to say." She turned to Connor. "I got accepted to Le Cordon Blue Cooking Institute." Pepper said and took a deep breath. Connor jumped out of his seat running to her. He picked her up spinning her around and gave her a passionate kiss doing and sat her back down. "Baby that is awesome! You always wanted to go there and it's actually happening!" Connor exclaimed with the biggest smile on my face. Pepper still has that sad look on her face. "But I go at the end of summer. That's in four months. That means I can't go with you on tour." Connor wiped the tear that Pepper let out. "Baby I won't be upset or angry at you. I would rather you go to that school then on tour with me. I don't want to hold you back form doing what you love to do. I love you very much." Connor said with watery eyes. Pepper already started crying. Connor wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close and kissed her with love and passion. I smiled at them.
I looked at Ross "I love you Ross. I always have and always will." A said with a smile. "And I love you Carter. I always have and always will." He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer and kissed me slowly but passionately showing his love. When we pulled apart I saw Connor had his arms around Pepper and she had her head on his chest and Ross kept his arms around me. Pepper and I smiled at each other. We both were thinking the same thing.
