You don't need to be a hero to save the world
It doesn't make you a narcissist to love yourselfIzuku's POV~
I sent them a small smile, starting to feel more and more awkward about the situation. It was like everything that had happened between all of us disappeared and it was our first time meeting all over again. I didn't like the feeling. It wasn't comfortable.
Apparently I was the only one that felt like that.
Eiji jumped onto the bed, right next to where I was sitting. The force of his impact made me bounce a little bit, resulting in a giggle escaping my lips. It reminded me of when I was thrown on my own bed, before we even started dating. I couldn't help but think of how much simpler things were then.
"It's been a day and I already missed your laugh." I heard him say softly. I blushed and looked away, still not used to how affectionate they both could be.
"That's just pathetic Ei." Kacchan said, sitting down on the end of the bed with his legs folded crisscross.
"Oh shut up, you weren't any better off." Eiji said with a scoff.
"I was handling it better than you." Kacchan responded with an eye roll.
I decided to interject with my own thoughts. "Technically, doesn't that just mean Eiji missed me more?" I asked, knowing exactly what I was about to start. What can a say, I missed the banter.
"Ha! I missed him more!" Eiji shouted in triumph.
"No you didn't, you're just terrible at controlling your emotions." Kacchan agrued back, crossing his arms in annoyance.
"Take it back! That was mean." Eiji said with a pout.
"No, it's the truth."
I grabbed Eiji's hand and pulled him over to me. I had decided to protect him from the fake insults. "Don't listen to him, you control your emotions perfectly." I cooed to him. I guess it wasn't really a lie. I didn't say he did it well, I said perfectly, which holds relevancy from person to person. The way he handles them are perfect for him.
"Ha! I'm winning, you angry Pomeranian!" The red head said happily as he wrapped himself around me, nearly smothering me. I could only laugh at his behavior.
"The fuck did you call me?" Kacchan asked him, indeed full of anger.
"Ah! Izu hide me!" Eiji shouted, moving so he was sitting behind me.
"Wh- Hey! Don't drag me into this! I've called him nothing." I said, holding my hands up in surrender.
Kacchan reached forward and ruffled my hair, "I know, good nerd." He said like I was the dog and not him.
I huffed in annoyance, but let him get away with it. If I was being honest, I missed having them play with my hair, so I'd let it slide just that once.
Look at me, we were fighting for one day and I already missed the little things.
"Don't just give up on me that easily!" Eiji said, directing the statement to me as I just let Kacchan get past me. Eiji had to get out of the bed as Kacchan started to chase him around the room.
"Trust me, giving up on you isn't easy in the slightest." I said offhandedly.
They both heard me and stopped playing around. They both looked at me, worry clear on their faces. "That was awfully cryptic Izu..." Eiji pointed out, trailing off at the end.
I stared back, talking to Eiji, seeing as he's the one that brought it up. "It wasn't necessarily supposed to be. Just that giving up on you two wouldn't be an easy thing for me to do." I said, not explaining much. I guess I was being pretty cryptic.
