My Birthday Wish~Taekai/Taening

Chapter 7

                  
  -Huening Kai-

 The muffled voices got closer and I could finally make out what they were saying, while more like singing. It was the traditional birthday song. I turned around and saw them. Beomgyu and Yeonjun was holding the cake carefully as the candles on the cake lit the dark room. Taehyun and Soobin were clapping along as they sing.

"Wha-what is this?"

"It a cake."

"I know that Beomgyu hyung...I mean why are you guys here?"

"Did you really think we forget your birthday. Even if we did have a scheduled today. We will still celebrate your birthday with you Kai." Yeonjun said sending a little wink to me and a smile.

Soobin then spoke up. "We wasn't really working today. We were actually getting ready for the surprise party that we have been planning the last few days," he continued, "that's why Taehyun made sure to take you out for the day so we could start sitting up."

I wanted to give them all a big hug and said how much I love them all. These boys were my family and I was glad I got them in my life.

"Happy Birthday Kai." Taehyun then went over and put a triangle party hat on my head.

"Hurry up and blow the candles already," Beomgyu said.

"Make a wish Kai!"

I never believe in wishes coming true from blowing candles. If so, then we have over millions or more people goals and desires coming true each year. But, I don't know I had a feeling that this wish will somehow count. 

So with anticipation, I blow out the colorful waxy sticks of light. Darkness illuminate the whole room for just a second, before Soobin flicker on the lights. The boys cheer and clap.

"Now let's get this party started!" Yeonjun said

We all talk happily among one another afterwards as the boys brought me their presents. 

Yeonjun brought me a green sweater with a hat, Soobin brought a new hoodie for me, Beomgyu got me some cool looking expensive shoes, and finally it was Taehyun turn. 

He handed me this cute looking blue box. I open it and inside was a cat plushie with a cookie in it little hands. I instantly fell in love with it. I hugged Taehyun very tightly.

"Thanks you so much Tannie!"

"It was no problem...I'm glad you like it Kai," Taehyun hugged Kai back smiling.

"Hey! Where our hugs…" Yeonjun pouted.

"You guys can come in too," Huening Kai motion for them to come into the hug and the three boys did. They all were laughing happily as they were all in one gigantic bear hug together.

~FEW HOURS LATER~

It was already dark. Huening Kai was having fun playing all his birthday party games with the others. They were now playing a little treasure hunt game. They needed to find a little paper with a smiley face on it. 

Taehyun ended up winning the game with the most smileys. He got a wrap cake pop as a prize and he gives it to Kai. Kai happily took it and ate it right there.

"Ok, It now time to end it here guys."

All the boys groaned in annoyance. Not wanting the party to come to an end. 

"Hey it pretty late and we need to clean up before evening going to bed, so stop whining."

"yeah you right…..Well have fun cleaning up the mess then!" Yeonjun wave to Soobin as he grab Beomgyu shoulder. Both boys about to run off to their rooms until Soobin stops then.

"Where did you guys think your going?" 

Both boys turn around slowly and face Soobin

"Umm…to our rooms." Beomgyu states nervously.

"No your not, you're helping me cleaning up all this stuff," Soobin stated. Before dragging the boys with him to the kitchen, he turned to Kai and Taehyun.

"You two can do anything as long you get ready for bed and Kai make sure to put all your presents away."

They nodded. Kai got up and start grabbing all his presents he got today. He got some from their manager that drop by and even from other groups like stray kids, ateez, and from his beloved bts sunbaenim.

He was very thankful for all of them for coming by and wishing him a happy birthday. He was happy that he had great friends that even though they were busy they drop by anyways.

He was just overly filled with happiness today.

Happiness that will keep on growing.

Huening Kai was putting his stuff away in his room. While he did that, he noticed that Taehyun wasn't in sight.

He wandered around the house until he stumbled and saw Taehyun outside on the balcony. He went and slide open the glass door.
