My Birthday Wish~Taekai/Taening

Chapter 6

  It was finally the day of Huening Kai's birthday. He woke up feeling giddying. He raced out of his room into the living room. But there was just Taehyun. 

"Where is everyone?" Kai asked.

"Bang Pd-nim call and he wanted some work done, so the hyungs went to the studio."

Huening Kai heart dropped. He felt as though someone just insulted him. Insulted him saying that mint chocolate is the worst ice cream flavor. He was so excited to spend the day with all his members. 

"But we can't be sad about that on such an important day..." Taehyun then pull out 2 tickets for a movie that just recently came out, that the younger was dying to see. "Happy Birthday Hyuka." 

Huening smile at the boy and give him a huge hug. He was glad he had Taehyun in his life. As long Taehyun is here to celebrate with him then the boy birthday would be the happiest he ever have. 

"Then what he waiting for? I'm going to get dressed well quick. Wait for me." 

Then Kai dashed off and quickly put on some comfy yet cute clothes. He brushes his teeth and style his hair a bit. The two was then off to the Cinema to watch the movie. Before they went their, they brought some delicious crepes.

The lady even give them a discount because of the cute couple. Huening Kai of course started  blushing and stuttering over his words. Taehyun just laugh at how cute he was acting. They finished their crepes and hurry along to the theater.

The movie was about a boy that was looking for his secret admirer. His admirer sent him a letter confessing his long term affection for the boy. Eventually the boy figure out who his secret Admirer was they got together at the end. 

Which Kai sadly can't relate to...just yet.

The boys then decided wandered around. They eventually came across this chicken restaurant and decided to eat there. In the restaurant there was an arcade with games of all kinds. 

Huening Kai was amazed at all the colorful, flashy games.

He then turned to Taehyun.

" Hey! Taennie let's play some games here. Loser gets to buy the chicken." Kai said

"You're On!" Taehyun laugh agreeing to the bet.

  

Their first game they went to was a pacman game. Taehyun easily won that. They then move on to a game called Mario Kart. Taehyun was in the lead until Kai used a red shell knocking him out of first at the last moment, winning the game. 

Now it was tie 1 to 1. The boys needed one more game to decide the winner. They finally settled on a street fighting game. They choose their characters and started pushing random buttons. The moves flash across the screen. Each one of them getting a hit in. Their health bar both on low, only one hit can decide this match. Both boys desperately dodge each other attacks  try to counter afterwards. After a moment of pushing random buttons Kai K'O Taehyun character in the game.

"Yes! I won. Free chicken for me."He beamed gleefully.

"Yea Yea, I know." Taehyun say in defeat. "I am going to go buy the food I be right back." Huening kai nodded. He went off. In Boredom, he decided to walk around the arcade more as he waited for Taehyun.

He went to claw games section of the arcade.

He saw some kids playing at the claw game. Trying to gain an expensive prize from the game. 

"Ah come on," said the boy frustrated.

"You're really close. Keep on it." Another boy with curly hair stated.

The claw was placed just above the toy the boys wanted and he press the red button lowering the claw. The claw grab at the shining toy. They held their breath in anticipation. The claw lifted the toy to the opening of the chute however, it drop the toy back with the other prizes in the machine.

"Oui, this stupid machine! I want my prize!" yelled the boy.

"Aww we almost had it too." The curly hair one sighed.

"Maybe I can help." Huening Kai said. He wasn't very good at these types of games but he wanted to at least help. The boys now looked at him with curiosity in their eyes.

"Hyung you can really help us?" asked the curly hair one.

"I can try." Kai give them a smile as he walk over to them.

"Fine. I guess you can try. You probably won't win though. The boy grunted as he crossed his arms together. 

Huening Kai put in the money and started the game. He carefully move the claw towards the toy the boy wanted. The boys just watch on while Kai play. He failed the games two times in a row. Going on to third loss.

"Hyung...you're really bad at this," state the Curly hair one.

"Yea you suck." The other boy shot out without no consideration.

"Ah sorry guys...This time for sure I get it." 

On his fourth try he decided not to put the claw exactly above the toy. Once he was sure he press the button again, hoping he gets the toy this time around. The claw pick up the toy and slowly brought it to the chute. This time the fourth try must of been his lucky chance. The claw move was successful and the toy went in the chute through the hatch. The boys collected the toy.

"Wow! Thank you Hyung!"

"I could have done it way faster than you! But I will thank you anyway." 

Huening Kai giggle at the two littles ones. "Ah you don't have to thank me. I'm just happy you guys got your toy."

"Hey Kai what you doing over here?" 

Taehyun asked. Walking to the three boys.

"Oh you're back Taennie. I was just helping out my donesangs with winning a prize from a claw game that all." 

"That good. I just brought the chicken. We should eat it before it turns cold." 

"Oh you're right! We can't have good chicken go to waste can we." Kai said.

The two boys with their new toy in their possession thanks Kai again for winning the prize for them. They both bowed to the older boys while they say their goodbyes and then ran off to another section of the arcade. He waves them off. Now he turns his attention back to Taehyun.

They walk to the table to get their food. Huening Kai noticed that Taehyun was holding a bag that he wasn't carrying before. He was going to ask him about it but he was more focused on getting the delicious chicken into his stomach. So that what exactly he did.

 They ended up going back to the dorms. afterwards. Huening Kai was happy that he at least got to spend the day with Taehyun even if he still was a bit upset not spending it with the others. Taehyun notice Kai silence on the walk back. Taehyun then softly grab the boy hand and caresses his knuckles. 

Kai look up at Taehyun that was giving him a reassurance look. The lanky boy smile, feeling quite embarrassed and his heart rate increasing again for today. But instead of trying to avoid these feelings. He decided to indulge in it. Letting his worries leave his body. 

They finally arrive at their dorm. Taehyun unlocks the door, they enter into the room. It was all dark and the boys couldn't see anything. 

"Why is it so dark in here? I don't remember turning off all the lights when we left." Kai said as he was looking for a light switch. Then he stops dead in his tracks when he heard muffled voices in the room.
