My Birthday Wish~Taekai/Taening

Chapter 4

Kai walked in hearing the boys talk. Were they talking about his party or someone else the boy wondered and he finally decided to ask "Huh? Who party?" 

The 3 boys looked at Yeonjun. 

"Oh it yo-" before Yeonjun could say another word Soobin smack his back really hard.

"Ouch...hey that hurt y'know man." Yeonjun whined. Then Soobin and Beomgyu give death stares to Yeonjun to shut him up. Taehyun can't do anything but sigh at his oldest hyung.

"The party we are talking about is for…. BANG PD!" Soobin answered.

"Yea we were planning on making some food for him as a gift." Beomgyu said and then looking over to Taehyun to agree with him. Taehyun nod.

"Oh….." Kai was disappointed about that. He was hoping they would accidentally spill information about his birthday party.

"Anyways me, Yeonjun, and Beomgyu are going out today so you two will be here by yourself."

"Where are you guys going?" Huening kai asked after taking a bite of his pancake.

"Oh, we going to go help out at this bakery that isn't far from here." 

"Wouldn't you guys need help? Let all go together." 

Kai was about to get up until Soobin stop him.

"No you and Taehyun need to stay here." 

"Ahh…. why?" Kai whined as he slumped down in his seat. It not like he didn't want to be near Taehyun or anything. To be honest he would love to spend some time with Taehyun. He is his best friend too.

But he knows it's not a good idea since he is trying to get over this crush thing he has on him. He would hate to ruin their friendship. So staying with him by himself would not help at all.

"Because we have stuff for you to do here." Soobin smiled & ruffled the boy hair. He then looked over at Taehyun. 

"We text you what you need to do, and we will be back around dinner time."

Taehyun nodded. He knows that the three are actually buying their presents and looking for the perfect cake for Kai. He wanted to go & help them pick it out. Since Taehyun wanted Kai birthday to be absolute perfect for him. But the boys insistence that he stay.

 He accepted the offer right off the bat. Since he can be with Kai.

"Ok we should get going now." Beomgyu announced standing up. The other 2 nodded and grab their stuff before leaving. 

The 2 boys waved them goodbye. Then Soobin turn and look at the two "Can you two wash the dishes for me?"

"Of course Soobinie."

"Thank you. I will bring something back for you two." 

Soobin smiled at them one last time & exited through the door. 

"Ok then, shall we start with cleaning the dishes." 

Huening Kai pouted as his shoulders slump forward. He walked to the kitchen with Taehyun and did all the chores around the house for the day.

It wasn't fun doing the chorus but Taehyun made it quite enjoyable. Then would play little games and race each other of who can get stuff clean the fastest. He would blush here and there because of Taehyun.

Every time they would slightly brush against one another from carrying clothes to the laundry room to passing dishes to each other. Huening Kai heart will usually start to beat faster and then he would become noticeable clumsy. Almost dropping dishes here and there. Almost mixing the whites with the red, twice now. 

He knows he shouldn't be feeling this way toward his best friend. So he tries his best to just not think about it.

Because everyone know this totally work and won't totally do the opposite...

Eventually the three boys came back home. They all helped with dinner and ate some delicious tteokbokki then headed straight to bed.
