Rose came dashing down the stairs, just now realising she had forgotten to do her potions homework, which she wasn't very keen on doing it. She spread her things on the Granger-Weasley's kitchen table, shoving everything else aside. She was leaving for the platform in 2 hours and she rushed it as fast as she could. When she finished, which was 10 minutes after, she walked back to her room, but before she could leave, she heard a voice "Are you done already?" It was her mother, Hermione Granger. She was a pretty woman, brown and curly hair and her eyes, full of emotion.
"Yeah, mum, I'm done, see?" she replied, handing the parchement to Hermione.
"You sure you can't add anything else?" she looked curious "like what would happen if the potion wasn't brewed properly"
"Doesn't matter!" she said as she ran up the stairs "Professor Slughorn only asked for so much."
Hermione sighed, but let it go.
Rose straightened her curly red hair and put it in a ponytail. She wore her, what muggles call them, boyfriend jeans and her black sleveless crop top with #CÉLFIE stamped in white. Rose was beautiful. Rose was very beautiful. All of the boys in her school, at one point or another has fallen for her, including Scorpius Malfoy.
Rose was always a rebel. When she was 6, her mum told her not to eat the cookie dough, yet she did. When she was 8, her dad tried to get her to ride her bike with both hands on it, yet she didn't. When she was 14, Pofessor McGonnagal told all students to wear their uniforms in a formal manner, yet she pulled her skirt up and unbuttoned her shirt enough, so guys could enjoy the view. Her best friend Judy Vanessa Longbottom, which everybody calls Nessa, did the same. "Judy just screams Longbottom. Nessa is more mysterious and sexy" she said once in First Year. Rose thought it was stupid, because once in the sorting her name is called, everybody would know who she was. Rose thought it was because Nessa knew she'd be called Judge-y Judy, because she was really judgy, so was Rose, but not as much as Nessa.
When the alarm in her wand rang to remind her that it was time to go, she took her large trunks, full of clothing and make-up rather than books, and flew downstairs smiling hoping to have another great semester. Her parents have been waiting for her for a while now and Hermione was getting impatient. "Did you really just take 2 hours to get ready?" said Ron smiling knowingly.
"No, I took 1 hour and 50 minutes." she answered with a serious look "had to do my homework, you see? Wouldn't want another detention with Slughorn, innit?"
At that Ron and Hugo, her little brother, laughed. Hermione looked angry and spat "Professor Slughorn. For you missy." Everyone looked scared after that and left giggling behind Hermione's back to the King's Cross Station for the rest of Rose's sixth year at Hogwarts.
