Rose walked down the hall into the Ravenclaw common room, just to find Scorpius sitting alone trying to work out the newly installed TV.
"Want some help with that?" Rose said smiling.
"No, thanks."Scorpius answered, a bit too harsh for his own good.
"Woah. Hurt my feelings a little bit," said Rose sarcastically, "Something's wrong. What's up?"
"Why do you care?" Scorpius answered rapidly.
"Maybe because of what happened on the train," smirked Rose, "did you not enjoy it? Or did you enjoy it too much?"
He didn't answer. She frowned and leaned closer. She closed the gap between the two and planted a kiss on his cheek.
"You can tell me what's wrong, y'know?" She said softly, so soft that it sent shivers down his back.
"You are what's wrong. I can't stop thinking about you. And I can't stand you flirting with everyone around. And I hate," he stopped, "that I love you."
She didn't answer, but backed away and started laughing.
"Why- what are you laughing at?"
"You just said you love me, isn't that funny?"
"No, I was serious."
She giggled.
"Hey, I was serious!" He screamed.
"Ok, ok, Sirius Black." she said laughingly, "hit me up when you're not so serious, okay?"
"What's you problem?" He looked angry, "You really don't feel a thing for me? Why'd you come back here just to have a snogging session?"
She stared blankly at him. She didn't know what to say to that.
"Did you really expect me to have feelings for you?" She said after a few seconds, "You knew exactly who I was and what I do and it was kind of a come at your own risk situation. If you knew you were going to have feelings, you should've stopped me right there, not let me carry on."
"You're far too vain"
"If loving yourself means vanity, then yes. I am vain, then we should all be vain." She left without another word.
