Muzan was captured by Giyuu before he could get to the Kamado house, and thus the Demon Slayer Corps finally got their hands on him. After some hard work, they pinned him to a tree and watched him melt from the sun, freeing the world from him.
Later on, the Demon Slayer Corps become a mercenary group, moving nomadically to hunt demons while selling goods. Once all of them were accounted for, they finally relaxed and dispersed.
The Pillars wandered around before settling in their hometowns, becoming protectors despite the animosity that might remain. This enables Tanjiro to meet them eventually, getting along with them despite their edginess and uniqueness. They find him adorable and cute, wanting to wrap him up in a blanket and keep him there, though not as much as they wanted Muichirou to be treated that way.
Times are peaceful and demon-free. As a result, Obanai finally confesses to Mitsuri, and Giyuu does the same to Shinobu. The two couples then start double-dating, having fun together.
