I thought I was saved
when I met you.
I thought I found
the peace I've longing for in your arms.
I thought chaos was gone
for I saw calm in your eyes.

But one day, I woke up.
Your fire is burning me to death,
instead of loving me.
Your words are choking me too tight,
instead of comforting me.
Your hands are caging me every night,
instead of pulling me up.
You're tearing me apart!

I thought I trusted the right guy
but maybe, I'm really sucked at choosing.
