Jeongyeon POV
"Where is she?" I asked them. "She still inside the emergency ward" Mina said. I can only cried outside. Then, the doctor came out from the emergency. "Doc, is she okay? Can we see her?" I asked him.
"Are you related to her? What's your relationship with her?" the doc asked me. "I-I'm her husband" I said with confident. "She's okay. She need more rest and she needs to eat" the doctor said makes us relieved and he allow us to see her.
"Janggo, you can go first. All of us gonna head back. Tomorrow we come back again" Jihyo said and I bid goodbye. I then went inside her room seeing her sleeping .
Nayeon, I came back.I never thought that our break up , makes us parted, and we fought a lot. I fell for Naeun and at the same time I can't accept the fact that I still love you more than I love my own life. When I heard you had a boyfriend, I could hear my heart shattered into pieces, and my soul flew away. When you wished that I'll never appear on your sight, I did it. For our own good. When you knew I left, Chaeyoung followed you to our favourite place. Kai was there because I know when you're sad or angry you'll go there. I decide to hide my leaving from you because both of us need space. My love for Naeun is just a love destined together but our love story is like a drama with plot twist. Now, I'm here to have you back as my best friend. I'll go through obstacles, even it risks my life. I'll go through everything like you used to.
I then saw her fingers moving and I called the doctor to check on her. The doctor said that's she's awake and I'm allowed to see her. You can do this Yoo Jeongyeon.
"Nayeon?" I said. "J-jeong? You're b-back?" She said and tears started to well on her eyes. I then run to her and hug her tight not wanting to let go. She cried hard like there's no tomorrow. "Shh, don't cry anymore. Now I'm here, don't be scared" I told her and still hug her tight. "Are you back for your wedding?" She asked while still crying. "Nope. I'm back for you, for us"i told her and just kiss her. I'm sorry I've to do this.
This is the feeling that I'm longing for a long time. The feeling when you feel like you're home. But you're not going to be my home anymore.
"Jeongyeon, thank you. For coming back" she said and I gave her my sweetest smile. "I promised, once I heal myself, I'm coming back. For you. For us." I told her and she smile weakly.
"What about Naeun?"she ask.
Flashback
When I was resting at home, someone knocked on my door . I opened the door and saw Naeun and I welcome her in.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her. "Jeong , don't stop me and let me talk," Naeun said.
"Jeong, it's been 12 years I love you and I know, you won't see me that way at all. But please hear me out, I've been hurting so much for our love. I know you you've been there too, you're confused who do you love whether it's me or Nayeon. But, I hope that you can accept my feelings for you. It hurts me but I need to move on, and I-I
love you," Naeun said and broke down into tears. This what fighting for love and confused in love feels like. She started to walk away. No, not this time. I then run to her and hug her tight.
"I won't let you go. Not this time, I know I love Nayeon more than you but trust me, my feelings for you had grown and Naeun if you let me,
will you marry me?" She looked up to me while smiling and puffy eyes makes her looks more innocent. "Are you serious?" She asked . "You don't believe me?" I said and planted a kiss on her lips.
It feels like I'm safe,loved and special.
"Jeong , thank you for accepting me," she said and I planted a kiss on her forehead. "It's time for me to fight for us, you fought so much for us and now let me" I said,
End of flashback
"S-she's fine" I stuttered. "Jeong, are you okay?" She asked and I just nodded. "Let's get some sleep. We're both tired now," I said with a disappointed tone in me. We then go to sleep.
Next morning ~~
Nayeon POV
I look beside me, an innocent face of the love of my life. I woke up him up because it's already 12 noon. He then yawned. He looked like a baby. "Jeong, go home. Get changed. You're stinky," I scrunch my nose. "I already as- HOLY MOTHERFUCKER" He shouted when Chaeyoung barged into the room. "Bro, do you even know how to knock?" He asked irritated. He only grin his face.
Jeongyeon then went for a shower. After 15 minutes he come out from the bathroom. "Nayeon, when can you discharged?" He asked. "The doctor said I can discharged now so yep," I told him and he nodded. He told me that he's getting the dicharged from the nurse. After awhile, he's done and we went straight to my home.
He brought me to The Promise Place. We went for a walk and sit down on a bench.
Jeongyeon POV
"Nayeon, how have you been these days? I'm sorry for leaving you just like that," I apologized. "It's okay Jeong. I understand. You need space too" she told me. It hurts me because I'm letting you go for real soon. I love you forever "Jeong, we're gonna be together forever right?" She asked and I smiled weakly. No, we're not. I'm gonna be with Naeun but you're gonna be in my heart til the day I die. "Y-yea o-of course" i stuttered.
"Jeong, is there something you hiding from me?" She asked with curiosity and I shaked my head. I'm sorry Nayeon but I've to do this. "Nayeon can I ask you something?" I asked and she nodded. "What if one day, we don't work?" I asked and this what she reply.
"Jeong, if we won't work, I will never be myself again. I can't lose you again. I need you in my life. Ever since we were little, my heart stuck on you. Without you, I feel broke like a half of a whole without you I got no hand to hold. Jeongyeon,you played the biggest part of my life. We went through up and downs together. You always be there for me when I needed someone. I can't lose you at all. Jeong, will you stay with me forever?" She said.
If I could stay, I will. But the universe are playing tricks with us. The universe doesn't let us together.
"I w-will" I told her . She then kissed me. I replied the kiss but this time it's different. It' feels like a goodbye to our love story,full of sadness. Did she feel the same way too?
We then had dinner and I send her home. She gave me a tight hug and asked me if we can go hang out any time. I then drive to my home.
Once I arrived, I saw Naeun waiting for me at the living room. Instead of greeting her, I run straight to my room and cried my heart out. Why do I keep on hurting like this? I love Naeun but I love Nayeon too. I hurt Naeun so much and it's time for me to heal her but Nayeon need me. I can't lose her too. Why? Does love always this hard?
Naeun POV
I knew he went to see Nayeon at the hospital. I'm hurt but I need to accept that he still love her and nothing can change it.
Suddenly,the door swung open and I saw him . He looked sad. He went upstairs instead of greeting me. I then went up to check on him. He's crying. Because of her again.
I then go to him and pulled him into my embrace. "Babe, I know you're having a hard time but if you keep up being this way, nothing will change. The fact that you can't unlove her and have her hurts me too. You keep on hurting yourself. Take slow step, one by one. I'm here to help you and love you forever. I don't deserve you Jeongyeon. You love Nayeon but you keep on choosing me while I'm hurting two hearts that should be sealed" I said not noticing tears rolled down my cheeks.
He then looked up to me with puffy eyes and said, "No don't ever say that Naeun. I'm the one who doesn't deserve you after all you've done for me. You hurt yourself but still in love with me to prove that you really love me. I'm too blind didn't see all these coming through. Naeun, whatever happens in our life, please don't leave me because
you're the only one I need" he said and wiped my tears. He's a truly angel. He still choose me though he loves Nayeon more. I the kissed him and it feels like home.
