Chapter twenty one

Your POV
Why can't you just tell him? Your too scared he's gonna say no. You feel tears fall down your face. Zach rubs your back as you cry into his lap. "I wish I could tell you but I can't seem to bring myself to do it." You mumble. "It's alright. You can tell me when your ready." He says back. You pop your head up and Zach looks at you with worry. He wipes your tears away with his fingers. "Why is it so hard to tell me?" He asks you as he looks into your eyes. "Ugh." You groan as you put your head back into his lap. Why is it so hard? He could like you back. But there's a large chance this could blow up your friend ship.

"Let's go inside." Zach says as he picks you up. He carries you inside and sets you in your bed. "Zach I." You begin to say but you stop yourself. He looks at you with hope. "I love you." You whisper. "I love you too." He says. "You staying here or are you actually gonna go home?" You ask him with a shy smile. "What do you want me to do?" He asks you. "I think I'm gonna go over to jonahs." You whisper. "Wait, you weren't serious about liking him." Zach says as jealousy enters his voice. "Of course not,  I just need to talk to him." You say back. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow." Zach says as he walks out.

You grab your keys and drive to Jonahs house. You knock on his door three times and he finally answers. His hair was messy, he had no shirt on and his eyes were barely opened. "Y/N. What the heck you want?" He asks you. "I need someone to talk to and your the only one I can trust." You say as you walk in. "Well it's 2 am." He mumbles. "And?" You say with a smile. "Okay start talking." He says as he sits down. "Would it be weird to say I'm falling for my best friend?" You say as your voice shakes. Jonah stops moving and stares at you. "No way." He whispers. "Don't look at me like that." You say to him. "are you gonna tell him?" He asks you. "I tried to and then broke down and told him I liked you when I actually like him so no." You rant. Jonah laughs. "You told him you like me, oh my lord." He says as he laughs. "It's hard to tell him. If I do it's gonna change our friendship no matter what and I don't want it to change." You say to him.

"But you want him to be more than just your friend." Jonah says back to you. "Stop being right Jonah." You say back. "You both are practically already dating. You spend all your time together." Jonah says. "Yeah but we don't kiss." You say to him. "Do you wanna kiss him?" Jonah asks giving you a disgusted look. "Yes." You whisper. "Oooooo you are falling so hard." Jonah says with a grin. "You can't tell him." You say to Jonah. "I won't, but you need to." He says with a smirk. You roll your eyes and put your head in your hands. "But how." You mumble. "Just say it dummy." Jonah says as he sighs.
