we shine a light in the dark
exploring places not yet seen
with feelings of exhileration.
we shine a light in the dark
places in others hearts,
hopefully bringing happiness to those who need it.
we shine a light in the dark
following a noise in the dark
the shadowy figure strikes again.
we shine a light in the dark
hoping to be found
while we're fading from the light.
we shine a light in the dark
but it's dying out
we're at the end.
we shine a light in the dark
the batteries almost dead
and no one to help keep our fears at bay.
we shine a light in the dark
to help people out
but how can we do that when our own lights almost gone?
we shine a light in the dark
but its dead,
the light fonally faded away.
