*plunk* ''Hehehe and another one goes in the pocket, such mad skills.'' Katie chided faking commentary, whilst Josh simply sat back staring at the girl in amazement. She had beaten him not once, not twice, but four times. Yes Josh the guy that never loses, lost against a girl in four games.

''Any chance your gonna let me win the next game?'' Josh asked with a smile on his face.

''Nope.'' Katie simply said, being sure to pop the P. ''But, we can make the next game a bit more interesting...'' Katie stated with a grin.

''Oh? how so?'' Josh replied interested.

''The person that wins the next game gets to ask one thing of the other.'' She clearly stated.

''Such as?'' He questioned slightly weary.

''Anything from a piggy back ride through the room, to a can of coke.''

''Deal.'' Josh replied already thinking of what he would get her to do for him when he wins.

Fifteen minutes later and there was only the 8 ball left on the table, lined up perfectly for Katie, whose shot it was next. Letting him win one game won't hurt. She thought, knowing that she could easily get the shot in with her eyes close, she bailed the shot sending the ball on a curve away from the pocket.

''Oh no.'' She said faking her disapointment at missing. ''I guess you might just win this game after all.'' she said pouting.

''And you owe me.'' He exclaimed with a smug smile on his face after sinking the last ball and took a look at Katie. She was still pouting when he turned around to look at her in the face. ''Nope, no puppy dog eyes! woman your killing me!!''

''Fine what do you want? after all you won the bet.''

''I'll tell you when we leave.'' He said with a slight smile.

''Okay, hey look whose back.'' Katie nodded her head in the direction of the door.

''Hey guys!!'' Rosie said smiling. ''Look who i brought with me.'' Behind the girl Kyle was standing. He ran over to Katie and picked her up in a big bear hug.

''Katie!!!'' He chuckled cheerfully at the girl in his arms.

''Kyle!!! put me down!!!! you know i hate being picked up!!!!'' She growled, trying to sound threatening when all she sounded like was a cute little girl whilst laughing.

''You know you love it when it's me.'' He winked at Kaite cheekily, Completely forgetting their audience until Josh coughed.

''Uh hum.'' Josh tried to stealthily grasp their attention, not completely comfortable with the way Kyle was grasping his girl. His girl? stop it Josh!! she's not your girl!!...yet..... Kyle put Katie down, but didn't remove his hand from her waist and turned them both back to Rosie and Josh.

''So, did she totally whip your ass at pool?'' Kyle asked Josh grinning.

''Absolutely. I don't know where that girl got her crazy pool playing skills but I'm going there.'' Josh nodded in appreciation.

''Haha thats my girl!! learn't from the best.'' Kyle said.

''Please !!! I taught you and don't you forget it buddy!!!'' Katie cut in.

''Sure sure little girl.'' He said whilst looking at her with an eye brow razed.

''Your infuriating!'' Katie said half laughing.

''It's why you love me.'' Kyle stated.

''Oh so much it hurts!!!'' Katie said sarcasticly pretending to clutch her chest in pain. Everyone witnessing this specticle laughed. The four of them went on like this for a little while longer until Rosie and Kyle claimed they had to go somewhere.

''I'll phone you tonight, aparently we have some talking to do.'' Kyle whispered in Katie's ear whilst hugging her.

''Sure sure.'' Katie said with a shrug. '' Talk to you guys later.'' She said waving at Kyle and Rosie.

after they all said their good byes it was just Josh and Katie. ''Do you need a ride home?'' Josh asked glancing towards Katie.

''Sure thanks.'' Katie said with a smile.

As they climbed into Josh's car Katie could no longer hold in her curiosity. ''Okay this is killing me, what do i owe you from the bet?'' Kastie asked looking at his muscles tensing whilst he backed out of his parking space. He wasn't obviously hot. He had amazingly blue eyes, nicely toned arms and legs with an obvious six pack under his shirt. Not much of a tan but jet black hair cropped short but not too short that it didn't look good on him. Crap, I wonder if he noticed me staring.

Katie thought loking up at his face. He was lost in thought, you could tell by the set of his jaw, and the crook in his eye brow. I wonder what he's thinking.

''Katie your going to have to tell me where you live.'' He said matter of factly.

''Oh right, umm i live on pembroke road round the corner, number 83.'' She replied.

They both sat there in silence apart from the sound of paramore coming from his car stereo. Why is he dodging my question? She wondered.

''Here we are.'' Josh said pulling up infront of her house. Before she could reply Josh had gotten out of the car and was opening the passenger door for her.

''Thank you.'' Katie said slightly stunned at his gentlemanlyness.

''You know the bet?'' Josh asked hiding his eyes from her. she nodded. ''I know what i want, but only if you want to.''

''what is it?'' She asked slightly confused. He grabbed her by the waist sending electric waves through her where his fingers skimmed her skin. Looking down into her face, looking into her eyes he knew he couldn't hold back his want for her lips on his.

Katie quickly figured it out, wanting the same thing she tilted her head up to look at him, as he slowly bent his head down, their lips inches apart.

''Sure.'' Katie stated, a clear smile on her lips. Needing no other encouragment he bent down and touched his lips to hers. slowly kissing her tenderly and passionately. Their lips moving in synch neither of them wanted it to end. But it had to when they heard someone opening the fron door to Kaite's house.The two of them seperated still hidden from who ever opened the front door by the hedges. ''I have to go.'' Katie said with a slight pout to Josh. He quickly kissed it away.

''Don't pout, what are you doing tomorrow? in fact no. You have zero say in this. You are spending the day with me.'' He told her with a cheeky grin.

''Hehehe fine, come get me at 11.''

''I will be counting the hours.'' and with that he planted another quick kiss on her cheek and got in his car.

With a giddy grin Katie ran inside, greated by her mother.

''Hi mum!!'' She said pecking her on the cheek and bouncing up to her room.

her mother looked on at her, slightly perplexed at her daughters attitude. ''Someones in a good mood.'' She called up to her.
