As I stood out in front of the coffee shop, I wondered just how pathetic I must look. It was dark outside, so I probably looked like a creeper. Not to mention that a few seconds after I had arrived, it started to pour. Now I looked like a wet creeper.

But still I stood there waiting for Tyson. In fact the rain was pretty nice, and it was helping me calm down. The idea of getting to see Tyson after our non-discussed make-out session made me both excited and terrified. Would I actually be able to tell him what I felt, or would I some how get toungue-tied?

My toughts were inturrupted when car headlights flashed at me, and a car horn tooted at me. My heart learched into my throat. I couldn't see into the car's tinted windows, and I realized I had totally forgotten about Matt's threats. My muscles tightened, getting ready to go into fight-or-flight mode. If I needed to, my brother had given me his phone and told me to call him from Chrissy's phone. I could easily hide in an alley and make an emergency call to my brother.

"Woah, Alli, calm down. It's just me," Tyson opened his car door, and stepped out into the rain. As soon as I heard his voice, I relaxed. I knew I was safe as long as I was with Tyson. At least physically, mentally I just got more nervous. He walked towards me, and wrapped a rain coat around my shoulders. "You're drenched," He lifted an amused eyebrow.

The rain was already beginning to dampen his hair, so his bangs hung a bit farther down on his forehead. I couldn't help but notice that he seemed more attractive when he was wet. Not that I hadn't see him only in a towel before after a shower before. But back then I think I was trying as hard as possible to erase the image from my brain forever. Now, not so much.

"That happens when you're waiting in the rain," I smirked up at him, "Or so I'm told. I've never had to experiance it before." I brushed a dark, wet strand of my hair away from my eyes as I looked up at Tyson.

"Speaking of which, what happened?" His face suddenly became serious, "You called with so little information that I can't tell if you ran away or got kicked out because..."

"I ran away," I replied almost too quickly, "There was no I could stay there. My dad went balistic," My voice trailed off, the rain falling into puddles on the cement was much easier to look at than his face at that moment. I did but I didn't want to tell Tyson how I had actually been afraid that muy father was going to hit me. It's just not something people can talk about easily no matter what.

Tyson just seemed to accept what I told him, but I could tell he still had it on his mind, and ushered me into his car. I felt slightly bad for getting the leather seats damp, but he didn't seem bothered by it in the slightest. As I pulled on my seatbelt, Tyson pulled away from the coffee shop's parking, and onto a deserted highway and began the drive to his house.

I stepped out of the car for no longer than three seconds before I was tackled to the groud. Thank god we landed on the grass, otherwise I would have cracked my head open from the impact. And having the wind knocked out of me was bad enough.

"Alli, we missed you!" Someone mumbled next to my ear. Judging by the blonde hair all over the place, I could pretty much use common sense to figure out that it was Jade and Draesen who had decided to almost kill me.

"So, are you going to tell us what happened?" Draesen asked as she and Jade rolled off of me and it became possible for me to breathe again. They were both staring at me curiously, waiting for me to even give a simple hint as to why I had called in pretty much the middle of the night, demanding that Tyson come and pick me up.

I had to admit, there was no way I could come up with a fake story that wouldn't sound suspicious.

So, I decided to spill the beans, "Well, honestly, my dad went haywire, and my brother had to literally disable the security system outside my window for me to escape," my eyes turned over to Ryan who was standing inbetween Craddoc and Tyson, "By the way, Ryan, you never told me you had a sister," I looked at him accusingly.
