The following morning, Merlin, Gideon, Elsa, and Ruby stood at the border that separated the two islands with their parents.
A limo pulled up at precisely noon. Out of it came a wealthy looking man in a suit. This man nodded to the four chosen ones.
"'i! You'd be the chosen four I presume?" The man asked in a British accent.
Merlin stepped forward. "We are. I'm Merlin. That's Gideon. That's Ruby. And there's Elsa." He said pointing to each in turn.
"Pleasure. Well, let's get your things then!" He said in a cheery tone.
The man packed their things while they said their goodbyes to their parents. Ruby stroked her father's fur before pulling her hood up. Elsa and her mother hugged, Ingrid reminding Elsa to wear the gloves that she had put on earlier that morning. Gideon gave his mother a quick hug that she didn't return with more than a quick pat on the head. Finally, Merlin and his mother just glared daggers at one another until the man finished packing.
The four friends got in the car, one after another. The British man got in the driver's seat and they took off.

While they were headed down the bridge, the group were busy fighting over the stuff in the car, only stopping when Merlin yelled, "Guys, look!"
They looked out the window to see the bridge magically repairing itself until it was whole again.
"Whoa!" They all called out.
A few minutes later, the car pulled up to the other island, the bridge disappearing behind them, and the man drove up a pathway that led to a large building in front of which was a garden and a group of three people.
The car stopped and the man came over to open the door. The four, who had been fighting to get to the front so they could get out, fell down in a doggy pile in front of the three people.
Merlin was the first to get to his feet, embarrassed, especially when Gideon started wrestling Ruby in front of them. "Guys, we have an audience."
They immediately got to their feet. "Please don't touch anything." Said one of the two women. This woman was dressed like a nun, brown hair piled ontop of her head. "Leave everything how you found it."
The other woman came forward. "It's ok, Mother Superior. I can take it from here, no fairy godmother needed."
"Wait." Merlin spoke up. "Fairy Godmother? As in bibidi bobidi boo?"
"That was a lot time ago. I don't even use that wand much anymore." She turned to the other woman. "I have to go. Good luck." Then she disappeared.
Merlin turned his attention to the other woman. She smiled brightly at the four. "Hello! I am Princess Rosalia, but you may call me Rose, and I'm so excited to meet you!" She rushed over to shake Merlin's hand. "You must be Merlin!"
"That's me." He said, the smallest hint of a blush starting to color his cheeks though he wasn't sure why. "And this is Gideon and Elsa and--"
Ruby was hugging Rose before he had a chance to introduce her. "I'm Ruby!"
"Sorry. She's a bit of a hugger." Merlin gave Ruby a look and she broke the hug, blushing.
"So I see." Rose said, laughing a bit. "It's a pleasure to meet you all. I hope we can all become good friends."
That's when the guy walked up. "Don't get too comfortable." He whispered to Rose. "I'm Karayan, Rose's boyfriend." He added the last bit jealous of the look Rose and Merlin were exchanging. "And son of Snow White and Prince Charming." He shot Merlin a glare. "Let me guess: you're the son of the Evil Queen?"
"Yep." Merlin said, popping the p.
"It's nice to meet you." Karayan said, forcing a fake smile on his face. "Oh, and, by the way, I totally forgive your mom for trying to kill my mom, ruining her wedding, and trying to destroy the entire kingdom."
Merlin faked his own smile. "Thanks! And I totally forgive your mom for breaking a promise and ruining my mom's entire life after taking everything away from her."
"Alright, boys." Rose butted in. "Settle down. We're all friends now." She gestured to the four villain kids. "Welcome to Storybrooke." With that, she grabbed Merlin's hand. "Come on! There's so much to see!"
Then the group walked into Storybrooke.
