"Y/N!" Henry called out as the police held him to the ground. "N/N, come get me out of here!" He screamed. The cops were hitting him and holding him down. "HENRY!" I cried out trying to get to him as two other cops held my arms. "Let me go." I demanded, thrashing around. "Can't do that Ma'am." they stated simply still holding tightly onto my arms.
"Y/N, we'll kill them all together, you need to help me!" he yelled. I stopped trying to get away and stared at him with disbelief. Who is 'them'? He finally calmed down a bit as they held his head, pushing it into the cement. I saw a smirk crawl onto his face as he looked up to the sky.
I followed his gaze and my eyes went wide when I saw that damn red balloon.
I shot up with sweat running down my face. I held my hand to my mouth as I quietly sobbed to myself. I heard my phone buzz and I looked down to see an unknown number calling me. I was always scared to answer unknown numbers because I felt that one day something bad would happen. And that nightmare a second ago made my anxiety feel worse.
I slowly picked my phone up and stared at the number. I answered it at the last minute and I heard an all too familiar voice. Thing is, I didn't recognize it. "Hello, is this Y/F/N?" I nodded to myself before replying. "Y-yes, who is this?"
"Mike, Mike Hanlon." He said. My heart dropped and after a small pause I felt relieved to know he was doing well. "From Derry?" I asked, just the name of that place made my skin crawl. "Yeah." He chuckled a bit and I did as well. "Nice to hear your voice again.." I smiled to myself.
"You too." He said. "I know you're not going to want to hear this but.." He started and I felt my heart stop again. "You want me to come back right?" I asked simply, trying not to sound like I was going to break down at just the thought.
"Wow, I guess you already knew." He quietly chuckled through the phone. "Mike.." I started. "No, please Y/N, I just thought it'd be nice to have a reunion with you guys." He said wincing to himself, he never did like lying to you or anyone for that matter. "O-Okay, when?" I asked. "Tonight if you could." He stated quickly. "Alright." I sighed.
We hung up and I saved his number before packing and getting ready. It was settled, I was going home. I walked to my car and my head flashed with all the memories of my friends.
Eddie.
