Before

"OH WOW! A pink human! I didn't know they come in different colours?! And a Spinel? OOOO! This day is amazing! AMAZING I TELL YOU!"

Quickly, Spinel and I were lifted into a tight hug by the over-friendly Rose Quartz we just met. But all I did was chuckle nervously.

"Oh boy, not again."

Now

"(Y/N) was so cool! She all like 'THAT'S ENOUGH!' and these pink sound wave looking thingies came out of her mouth and soon as you know it the human zoo people went WHOOSH!-"

Sitting down on the couch at Steven's house, me and him were watching Spinel tell the story of what apparently happened? She seemed to be all in it with facial reactions and body movement. It was super sweet of her but I couldn't help but get a bit heated from embarrassment.

"Like! You should've SEEN it. I didn't even know she could have powers?! Did you know because I certainly did not! No one knew humans had powers like that!"

I felt a bit of movement beside me from Steven. "Soo... You have powers now?" Steven crooks his head to the side to look at me. Spinel was still wildly telling her tale but didn't seem to notice that we went into a conversation.

Shifting in my seat a bit, I had to think before opening my mouth. I barely knew what was happening "Umm, yeah? I guess I did have powers? It happened so quick I had no idea what WAS going on... Just got super angry and POOF!"

"That's awesome though! Lion has powers, maybe you're going to have the same abilities he has!"

"Neat! But... I don't think a lion could teach me?" Chuckling slightly I notice Spinel turning towards me in a confused manner.

"Hey! What's so funny, Hunny?"

"Oh! nothing nothing! We were just talking ways to learn more about opening my new powers." I wasn't really paying attention to anyone at the moment, my mind was wandering in all sorts of places. Ever since I've came here, I've experienced the most I've ever felt throughout my entire life. And now powers?! How insane will my life get?

"Hmm... Powers ARE good... You would be more protected... YES! That sounds like a great idea! Very good, lets help (Y/N) Learn about her power!" Using her stretchiness to her advantage, Spinel was able to quickly grab us both by our arms in a tight but gentle grip before pulling us up the stairs in a cheerful manner.

"Huh, you seem to... ugh... be happy about this Spinel" Steven adds in while trying his best not to fall over and keep up with Spinel's long strides. "S-Spinel! slow down please!"

Walking us onto the warp pad, she gives Steven a giant grin to tell him to warp us where we should probably go to train, He just gives a long sigh while proceeding to warp us to the location. By this point, I've thankfully have gotten used to the fast transportation feeling that when we were in a new location, I didn't feel all queasy when we stepped down into a place I've actually been a few times.

"Welcome to the Sky Arena, Spinel. We usually come here to train" Steven introduces the place to Spinel as we started making our way down the stairs.

"Well... Steven... How are we going to try and practice my skill?" I question while taking interest in all the unique bits of flooring that were floating in the air peacefully.

"I was thinking, for now, we can try to practice on you're... yelling powers? What do you remember last time you did it?"

"Yelling" Spinel I heard next to me snickering quietly from my comment. This only gave a semi eye roll from the tired boy.
