"Another blood test?" I groan annoyed by the amount of blood tests I've been doing my whole life. Ever since I can remember, I've been giving blood to the doctors so they can find some answers to something.
"Yes, we want to find out why your vitamin D is higher than everyone else's here." My dad says to me as we begin our walk to the medical floor.
"Ugh. Who cares!" I sigh. "So I have a bit more VD than everyone, what's that have to do with anything?"
"well, maybe when we figure out how it's so high we can start doing that to everyone else and other stuff but it's too scientific for you to understand."
"Whatever."
I huff and walk faster than my dad. All my life, I've been doing these blood tests and it's always the same thing. Dante has always been saying your blood will save us all. How? I have a gut feeling that there is a whole other meaning behind the teats but why would my parents lie to me and say this is the way for us to find answers?
We make our way to medical and I lie down on the bed where I always usually get my blood taken. Dr. Tsing stands at the edge of my usual bed.
I notice that blonde girl who came from the sky is also laying on a bed in medical... hm, what was her name again?
I wonder what happened to her for the girl to be in here.
"Morning, Miss Darwin." Dr. Tsing greets with a fake friendly smile plastered on her face.
"Can we just get this over and done with?" I sigh. Dr. Tsing nods and goes to the front of the room to grab some materials.
"I have to get going, Blair." My dad kisses my forehead and walks out of the room. Dr. Tsing bids my father a farewell before walking up to me.
"What's she doing in here?" I point to the blonde girl.
"Clarke?" Dr. Sting questions and I nod my head. Right, Clarke. That's her name. "Her stitches on her forearm reopened."
"Ow!" I moan feeling weak at the thought of her stitches reopening.
"Okay. You can take it out because I have to be somewhere, Blair," Dr. Tsing puts the needle in my inner elbow and I watch as the blood exits my body and into the tube. "I'll be back."
Tsing leaves the room and I notice how quickly Clarke jumps out of bed.
"Clarke, what are you doing?" I ask watching the blonde walk over to Langston, who is a guard of Mount Weather. She ignores me and shakes him.
No response. She shakes him once again but like earlier, nothing.
Clarke whispers something but I'm too far from her and miss out on what she says. I shake my head and look down at my arm, finding a sudden interest with the blood oozing out of my body and into the tube.
