The cool breeze blew into Shikikan's beach house as night fell. It had been an enjoyable day for usually hard-working Shikikan but not for Belfast. As Shikikan waited for his dinner in an eerie silence, he could only hear Belfast's knife crudely slicing the salads. Her usual charming smile was not appearing too charming now and it was apparent to Shikikan just how bad her day was. Belfast stared at the salads she was slicing in a rather more sadistic manner than she generally used to.
Shikikan completely petrified, waited for Belfast to bring him his dinner while trying to figure out how he ended up in this situation. He remembered Kent's words.
Kent: Commander...you would like to avoid any confrontation with miss Belfast today...Believe me, you wouldn't like her when she is not in a good mood.
Belfast was ignored and her authority as the head maid and as the head of Shikikan's security detail was undermined. Her orders were ignored, Shikikan's safety was compromised and how could she forget the wild goose chase they went on. Shikikan after spending some more time with Atago and Taihou came back home only to be welcomed by a not so happy Belfast. Her eyes were blank and her smile was anything but warm, it was cold, really cold and that was reason enough for avoiding Belfast at all cost. He thought he would just go to sleep, but as he was passing by the kitchen he heard Belfast's scary voice.
Belfast: My lord...
He stopped dead on his tracks and turned around to see Belfast staring at him with her blank eyes and equally blank smile as she chopped the chicken slowly.
Shikikan: Y-Yes....B-Belfast?
Belfast sliced through the bone with a loud crack and tore the two thighs making a loud tearing sound of flesh and it was disturbing.
Belfast: Would my master like his chicken sliced or diced?
Shikikan: I think I will skip-
Belfast: Skip the dinner?....hehehe....my lord, I must disagree...
Belfast walked slowly towards him, still holding the boning knife in her right hand. Shikikan felt like his legs were frozen and were unable to move. Belfast kept staring at him with her purple eyes as she pulled his chair out for him to sit.
Belfast: Come on, master, why don't you take a seat while I prepare the dinner for you?
Since then Shikikan had been sitting quietly, waiting for his dinner.
"Why is Belfast so mad. I can understand Atago and Taihou made a mistake but why am I the one being punished??" Shikikan contemplated as he sipped his glass of water.
Belfast: Sorry for the delay, my lord.
Belfast stood beside him, staring him with a smile. It was the most intense dinner Shikikan ever had.
Shikikan: Come on have a seat, why don't you eat as well.
Belfast: I am fine, my lord...*hic*...I already had my dinner.
After the longest dinner, Shikikan ever had. He found himself laying on his bed feeling like a child as Belfast covered him with a quilt.
Shikikan: Its fine Belfast I can-
Belfast: Nope! Helping my lord sleep well is my duty...
As Belfast tucked him in, she got close enough for Shikikan to smell alcohol.
