Negotiation [Final Chapter]

"Stop chasing us." Dazai said monotonously, "I'm tired of trying to get killed."

"And what if I say no?" Mori chuckled, "What if I make them hunt you down for the rest of your life?"

"Then I won't hesitate to kill anyone that you send at me!"

"Wowww, how scary. But you're going to put your precious boyfriend at risk. It won't just be you, Chuuya is going to die too."

Dazai leapt towards Mori while pulling a dagger out of no where. He tried to slash his neck but was stopped by something. He jumped back and noticed that there was a short girl with long blond hair standing next to Mori. Her skin seemed to have been enhanced to defend against attacks because there wasn't a scratch at her.

"Aww did little Elise-chan come to protect me?" Mori said lovingly while hugging her, "Do you want some candy?"

Elise pushed Mori away,

"Stop being such a lolicon, Mori-san," she said coldly,

Mori jumped back a bit and hugged his own body,

"Oh my Elise-chan, your cruel words send chills down my spine," he said in a very creepy tone.

Chuuya and Dazai looked at him in disgust,

"Why is he wiggling like that?" Chuuya whispered to Dazai,

"Mori is a pervert, a major lolicon pervert..." Dazai replied, feeling a sense of second-hand embarassement.

"Calm down Dazai, you too Elise-chan," Mori calmed down a bit, "I'll be honest, I don't really want to kill you either."

"Then stop sending people after us!" Dazai exclaimed,

"I'm afraid I can't. Port Mafia promised that we'd eliminate any vampire, they pose a threat to society. Since they can live kind of normally, it's hard to find a vampire. Who knows what kind of crimes they can commit before they are caught?"

"Does that mean we can live in peace if I can prove that I'm not a threat?"

"I guess? Good luck doing that though, no one is going to believe you."

"I will!" Chuuya piped up, "I know Dazai, I know he wouldn't hurt anyone without reason! He even almost died for me! Please, Mori, just let us live a normal life!"

Dazai and Mori were both shocked by Chuuya's sudden outburst. Dazai chuckled under his breath, that chuckle turned into a laugh that echoed through the bedroom. Chuuya's face started to burn even though he didn't know whether Dazai was laughing at him or something else. Mori joined in on the laughter, further confusing Chuuya. 

"Ah..." Dazai stopped laughing, "Chuuya you're so cute, I didn't expect you to stand up for me with such passion."

"I agree," Mori nodded his head, "Dazai isn't as dangerous as the other vampires that exist. Hell, you aren't even dead yet, which is surprising, normally an average human would die of blood loss by now."

"You talk as if you aren't human." Chuuya commented, 

"Ahahahaha! How observant Chuuya, Dazai really chose such a unique person. You're right, I'm not human either."

"Yeah... he's just a creepy pedo, he's even lower than a human." Dazai muttered under his breath,

"Hey, I heard that!" Mori cried, "I swear I'm not into little kids! Anyways, I'm not human... I'm also a vampire, just like your precious boyfwiend."

Mori is a vampire too? Chuuya thought, then why does he want to kill all vampires? That just doesn't make sense.

"Chuuya, you must be so confused. Why would I want to run a group of assassins that want to kill my own species?" Mori said like he was reading Chuuya's mind, "The answer is simple really... I think we don't deserve to exist. There is no benefits in keeping vampires around, all they do is suck blood out of people."
