Midnight Fire was angry that he threw Richard out of the way and jumped into the plant to save Isabelle, he created a special anti-chemical spray to make him immune to the chemicals to it won't alter his body. But has he swims trying to look for Isabelle. It's like she disappeared. Midnight failed on saving her.
