Isabelle managed to get away from Shinobi Spider without a trace thanks to her insanity abilities. Shinobi lost sight and retreated. Isabelle went back home and lied down on her bed. "Why Loli?" She asked her kwami. "Why didn't we save him?"
"I'm sorry Izzy. I was scared. I didn't want to risk getting you or me caught by Mayura." Loli said.
"I don't blame you." Isabelle said. "We were both scared." Isabelle and Loli hugged each other for comfort.
Later Isabelle heard a knock at the door. And walked downstairs and opened it. She heard a familiar voice. "Hey Izzy."
Isabelle recognized that voice. "Daddy!" It was her father Ken. Isabelle gave him a hug and embraced it as she cries.
"What's wrong?" Ken asked his daughter.
Isabelle didn't want to say anything about that happened. "There was an earthquake."
"Yeah I noticed." Ken said. "I had a 2 week vacation so I decided to come to Paris to be with you and your aunt Lindsey for a while. Then j felt the ground shaking after I got off the airplane. Looks like The earthquake gave you another scar on your other eye."
Isabelle noticed it as she felt her face. "Not again."
Then the TV gave breaking news. "This just in... One of Paris's heroes Kid Arachnid... has died. After seeing fatal injuries cause by the earthquake."
"Oh my... so that's why... your a big fan of Kid Arachnid aren't you?" Ken asked. Isabelle nodded as she cries. "I'm sorry."
"Sources are confirming that John Rodriguez, a 27 year old grad student, operated as Kid Arachnid." The newswoman said.
All over Paris people were heartbroken that Kid Arachnid died. Even Kid Arachnid's wife Wendy Rodriguez was heartbroken.
The next day Isabelle went to the funeral, wearing a purchased Kid Arachnid mask she got from a costume shop. She sees a woman walking up to the microphone to give a speech It was Wendy.

"My husband John Rodriguez was an ordinary person. He only said it could've been anyone behind the mask, he was just a kid who was given a miraculous gift. He didn't ask for his powers. Isabelle was touched by Wendy's words. "Their counting on me..." Isabelle said to herself.
"Not you specifically." A random person said. "I think it's a metaphor."
Later...
Isabelle went home. "Loli... tell me the words to transform." She asked her Kwami.
"Okay. But before I do, I have one question..." Loli said. "Why do you want to transform after coming back from the funeral?"
"Because... Wendy was right. Everyone is counting on me. Her, John, everyone. For months a felt like a monster. It's time I finally start a new chapter. Become a superhero. I'll stop Mayura, destroy the Collider and when I get back to Neo-tech, I'm going after Richard Osborne for making me a freak."
"I believe in you Isabelle. Say... Loli, web on!" Loli said.
Isabelle opened her extract braclet. "Loli, web on!"
Isabelle's body transformed. She has a blue baggy bodysuit, white gloves with red fingertips, a red spider emblem on the white part if her chest, she had pink dye on the edge of her hair and a white mask with a red spider emblem and with red outline eyes.
