‘To live would be an awfully big adventure.’ – Peter Pan
Have you ever laid eyes on a newborn babe?
They are the epitome of life, both weak and strong.
A fragile body holding such passion for life.
For us humans, death is inevitable.
Yet, with death comes life.
Life is like a dream, sometimes a nightmare.
Like love, it brings pain, but also joys.
Do we sacrifice all the good times for the bad then?
Or do we treasure them both? Both good and bad?
Looking into the eyes of my newborn,
I knew for certain what my answer was.

Short StoryA story I had previously posted in Winglin back in 2009/2010. This was intended to be a movie script so it's a bit shorter and faster than a regular novel. Credits to angeLLina of Intrinsic for the poster!
