Hi everyone that reads this, Happy thanksgiving, merry Christmas, and happy new year! I just wanted to say that I don't think I'll continue this story anymore because I find that the storyline was not planned out, the writing was terrible and not my style anymore, and I haven't found inspiration for this story.

I'm really sorry that this is the update you get after months of no updates but, good news, I can give this story to adopt of whatever it's called. What I mean is if you want to continue it or rewrite it then contact me through Wattpad messages and I'll give the ok.

Anyways besides that, I have plenty of other stories you can read because I can never stop making new ones. I also have the last stuff I wrote for this story here too if you prefer that instead. Imma stop rambling and just put it here :P.

Chapter 7~ The Calling Ocean

Tokota shot out of bed, taking panicked breaths.

He heard whimpering from beside him, coming from Nikan, who was resting his head on Tokota's lap.

Tokota looked up and saw Nani, her eyes clouded with worry, and her hand shaking near his shoulder.

Tokota let the tears run down, and he hugged Nani tightly, with Nani drawing circles on his back, singing him songs to calm him down.

"Are you feeling better?" Nani asked gently. Tokota nods slowly, holding Nikan close to him. Nani knows that he's not fine, he's hiding it.

"Do you want to talk about your nightmare?" questioned gently. Tokota shook his head, hugging her tighter. Nani didn't want to push the child further, so she didn't ask again.

While Tokota was calming down, Nani was thinking of what to with him while she was here.

"What do you want to do while I'm here?" Nani said gently to her okosisimâw (son).

Tokota thought about it for a while. He wanted to visit that small beach he had seen when Nani saved him, but was it okay for him to be exploring with general Winter out to get him?

Tokota finally thought it was okay if Nani was there and asked to go around the area.

As they walk away from the settlement and closer to the spot where Tokota met Nani, Tokota starts feeling chills up his back. Good thing Nani and Nikan couldn't see him shiver. He wouldn't want to worry them and ruin the day before Nani leaves.

They make it to the beach and Nani stares in awe.

"I've never seen this area before! When did you see this!" Nani said excitedly. Nani loves exploring.

"I saw it when you helped me... I wanted to come back and see it" Tokota says, looking out at the frozen ocean.

"I think it's too cold to play in this water, but when I visit you again, I will swim with you in the water"
