“Wow, that’s a whole lot of food.” Chaeyoung said as she opened Dahyun’s fridge.

Dahyun had invited Chaeyoung and Tzuyu over to her apartment for a sleepover, something they hadn’t done in years. The mattresses were laid out on the floor and a pillow fort had been built in the centre of the room. Tzuyu was currently huddled inside the fort, spooning Dahyun, while Chaeyoung was rummaging through the fridge.

“Sana makes sure I have enough to eat.” Dahyun said as she scrolled through her Twitter feed.

“Oh, right,” Chaeyoung said, “The sugar mommy.”

Dahyun rolled her eyes at the tone of Chaeyoung’s voice. She still had yet to warm up to Sana, despite how kind the woman had been to Dahyun.

“At least she’s feeding Dahyun.” Tzuyu said in her usual bored tone.

“Yeah, well, so does the farmer before he sends the pigs off to slaughter.” Chaeyoung grumbled.

Knowing it would irritate her, Dahyun asked, “So I’m a pig now?”

Chaeyoung only glared at her from the other side of the apartment. Dahyun snorted.

“How’s classes going, Dahyun-ah?” Tzuyu asked.

Dahyun perked up and said, “I got an 87 on the last test.”

“Wow, good job.” Tzuyu said before ruffling Dahyun’s hair. “I guess you have more time to study now that you quit your jobs?”

Dahyun nodded and hummed in agreement.

Chaeyoung called from the fridge, “Yet another thing to thank the messiah herself for, no doubt.”

“Jesus Christ, what is your problem with Sana?” Dahyun snapped.

It was one thing to be concerned. It was another to repeatedly bring up Sana and badmouth her. Dahyun knew Sana, and she knew that someone as kind and generous as her didn’t deserve to have her name dragged through the mud like this.

Chaeyoung slammed the fridge shut and walked around the counter to stand in front of the pillow fort. Dahyun untangled herself from Tzuyu and sat up, eyes burning in annoyance.

“My problem, Dahyun,” Chaeyoung said, “is that you two are pretending like this relationship is nothing out of the ordinary. We don’t know this woman! For all we know, she could be using you!”

Dahyun scoffed and asked, “And what could she be using me for? My instant ramen cups?”

“How can you be so casual about all this? Do you actually know this woman?” Chaeyoung asked, folding her arms over her chest.

“I’ve spent weeks getting to know Sana.” Dahyun said, rising to her feet, “It’s you who doesn’t know her and that’s why you’re so upset! If you’d just meet her you’d probably like her.”

“Oh, does the almighty Minatozaki have time to spend with a lowly mortal such as myself?” Chaeyoung said with a mirthless grin.

“Chaeyoung-ah.”

Both Dahyun and Chaeyoung looked down at where Tzuyu was laying on the mattress. The Taiwanese girl was looking directly at Chaeyoung, the sternness clear in her eyes.

“Stop saying stupid shit.” Tzuyu said firmly, “You’re embarrassing yourself.”

It was so scathing that Dahyun flinched at her words. When she looked over at Chaeyoung, she found the girl clenching her jaw and breathing through flared nostrils. Despite her anger, she didn’t respond. She simply stalked away to the kitchen to busy herself with the food there.
