“You went to Jeju Island and all you got me was a souvenir.” Chaeyoung said with a blank face.

Dahyun grinned and said, “And a karaoke machine, too!”

“…I’ll take it.”

It was the day after the weekend trip to Jeju Island. Dahyun was lounging in Chaeyoung and Tzuyu’s dorm and had just endured a ten-minute lecture about how reckless her behaviour was. She waited out the storm and delivered her peace offerings: gifts.

Tzuyu took the machine from Dahyun’s arms and said to Chaeyoung, “This would be perfect for Minseok’s party tonight.”

Chaeyoung’s eyes lit up and she said, “This is why I’m dating you.”

“Minseok’s having a party today?” Dahyun asked, frowning.

“He blasted it all over social media over the weekend.” Chaeyoung said, adding, “You would know about it if you hadn’t hopped on a plane.”

Dahyun flopped back onto her bed and said, “It doesn’t really matter if I was here or there; I’m not going to any parties.”

Chaeyoung groaned loudly before pouncing onto Dahyun. The latter squealed in surprise and tried to fight off her friend. Chaeyoung was (surprisingly) stronger and overpowered Dahyun, sitting on the girl’s stomach and effectively holding her down.

“You never come to parties, you’re so boring.” Chaeyoung whined.

Dahyun huffed and said, “I’m not boring, I just don’t like acting like a lunatic in a dorm filled with sweaty, drunk people.”

Chaeyoung blinked and said, “So what you’re trying to say is that you’re boring.”

Dahyun rolled her eyes and tried to force Chaeyoung off of her stomach to no avail.

“Well guess what?” Chaeyoung said, “I’m forcing you to come. You ditched us for Jeju so now you have to make it up today and come to Minseok’s party.”

Dahyun groaned. She knew it was only fair but she’d honestly rather die than go. And that was for one reason and one reason alone.

“You know Sungmin is going to be there.” Dahyun said, one last attempt to wriggle out of this.

“And Jongin would deck him if he tried anything so you can’t use that as an excuse.” Chaeyoung said, “C’mon, Dahyun, we missed you. It won’t be as bad as you think.”

Dahyun deflated. Even though Tzuyu was the youngest, Chaeyoung was the real baby of the group. They were weak to her pleas and Dahyun couldn’t refuse her when she said that.

“Fine.” Dahyun huffed, “Besides, I’ve got to use those new clothes at some point.”

Chaeyoung squealed and said, “You got new clothes?”

“We’re definitely dressing you up.” Tzuyu said firmly, adding, “If we let you dress for this party, you’d show up as an ahjussi.”

“So let me get this straight.” Sana said, taking a seat on the coffee table.

Dahyun had showed up to Sana’s office unannounced this afternoon. She wanted Sana’s advice on the outfits Chaeyoung and Tzuyu had picked out for her (to which Sana choose the pink adidas, red skirt and pink sweater, because who doesn’t love a pretty pink princess?).

When Sana asked her what the outfits were for, Dahyun explained that she was being dragged to a party. Further probing by Sana uncovered Dahyun’s real reason for avoiding the party: Choi Sungmin.
