2| Surprise 😃
Let's be honest here. High school is a waste of time but still helps us in the long run. But L.A's Richmond High School can suck my āss. Not only does the school not teach us anything but the students are worse than the human centipede. I mean it. Besides Kaylee, not one person likes me there. What did I ever do wrong? Or what didn't I do?
The populars stand outside of school every weekday just to make fun of my glasses and clothing choice. Are black rimmed glasses and band shirts not cool? But everyday, I attempt to ignore their shītty remarks by listening to music, specifically 5 Seconds of Summed, Twenty Øne Piløts, and All Time Low. And that's just a few from so much more. One day after school, Kaylee stole my ear plugs to tell me of her life changing news.
"APRIL you will not believe what mom told me!!" she practically yelled in my ear.
"Okay, I won't," I whispered and smiled, trying to get my ear plugs back. "May I have them back now?"
"No and stop with your sass." Kaylee rolled her eyes and dragged me towards her car.
"Kaylee! You're going to make me trip!" She let go, giving an apologetic smile, as I straightened out my crumpled shirt. "You can tell me now."
"So you know how social mum is right?" I nodded. "Well, she bumped into her old friend and then started hanging out with her more. After she and her friend talked about their children, they talked about their careers. Mum found out that her old friend works at The Forum, where 5SOS' concert will take place."
"Ooh. That's cool. Then what? She gave your mum free concert tickets?" I snorted at the thought.
"Hēll yeah!"
"Wait wait what? Backtrack please."
"Mum's friend did give her the tickets, and with her and your mum's approval, I'm taking you with me to The Forum!!"
"Oh my golly." Kaylee jumped around, causing other students to stare at us since we were still on campus. I just stood there, shocked. It's unbelievable, really, to find out that your best and only friend got concert tickets to the band that inspired me.
"Wow."
"I KNOW RIGHT! Now close your mouth before flies get into it," she teased, making me do as she said, and continued, "and let's get ready since the concert's tomorrow."
Oh yeah... I get so caught up with music that I forgot the tour dates, I thought. Nodding, Kaylee drove her mum's mini-van to my place. On the way there, my very persistent friend said she'd choose what we would both wear. Lord have mercy on me.

The Next Day
---
"I promise you, April, you look amazing." A large number of outfits later, Kaylee decided upon a It's not just a band to me muscle tee, ripped, black skinny jeans, green flannel, a Are we punk rock yet beanie, and combat boots. For her, she chose a black tank top, red flannel, dark blue shorts with a brown belt, and her signature black Converse.
Smiling, I thanked her. "Let's go."

At The Forum
---
After thirty minutes of looking for a parking space, we finally started walking towards the entrance only to be introduced to a large number of girls. I turned my head to my left then right, taking in the scene of screaming girls.
"Um, excuse me? What's happeni-" Kaylee started asking one of the girls.
"THEY'RE HERE!! 5SOS ARE HEREEEE!!!" The girl yelled in our ears and turned back to jumping up and down.
Could you be any louder? Have I mentioned that I absolutely hate screaming? I looked to Kaylee and found her joining the girl from earlier.
I stepped over to the crowd with my short legs. Unfortunately, I couldn't see anything besides the backs of the mob. Meeting again with Kaylee, we attempted to even catch a glimpse of the boys. We jumped. Didn't work. We pushed. Negative. We squeezed. Unfavorable. We got pushed to the ground by the group of girls. Kaylee quickly stood up, but since I'm slow, I got stepped, kicked, and stomped on.
Well I'm in a predicament.
Suddenly, I felt myself being lifted by two strong arms.
I embarrassingly looked up, finding him to have carried me.
