As soon as Ashton, Michael, and I entered the room, the tension increased.

"April," Kaylee ran up to me, hugging me.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for telling them something I shouldn't have. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I'm such a horrible friend," she cried.

"You are a horrible friend. I thought we were going to be friends until we die, Kaylee. I thought you were going to be the one laughing with me, not laughing at me. You're just like everyone else. I don't know how to forgive you. I don't know if I can forgive you!"

She fell to her knees.

"No. Begging isn't going to help. Just give me some time." I reassured her. Even though she hurt me, I believe she didn't mean to. I want to be friends with her again, but I need the time to be with myself.

She nodded, understanding. I hugged her. She hugged back.

"So, can we get pizza now?" Michael asked.

"Oh yeah. Um, we'll be going home now," Kaylee looked at me, asking for my consent.

"Yeah. We'll set off. Nice to meet you lads," I agreed.

"Wait! Why don't you two to come with us?" Luke asked.

"Another time maybe? Kaylee and I need some rest after today."

"Okay, then Monday?" Michael asked. I looked at Kaylee, who nodded.

"Yeah. It's settled then. Monday."

"Why don't we exchange numbers so- uh you know, for Monday?" Michael asked, blushing.

"Ye-yeah," I grinned. I probably looked stupid.
