The Transmutation adept

Gunvolt and joule were talking to Emma and Jin in a cafe not far from where they met.

"Okay so let me get this straight.."Gunvolt said "You two are both adepts?"

"Yes we are."Jin said

"It's really nice to meet other adepts like us" Mytyl said

"I guess so.."Emma said seeming rather confused about the whole situation.

"Huh what's wrong is it something I said?" Mytyl asked

"No it's not your fault... you see my friend just awakened her Septima." Jin explained.

"Oh I see I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable Emma" Mytyl apologizes

"No it's nothing really I'm just not used to this just yet just give me some time so I can adjust okay Mytyl?" Emma asked with a gentle smile on her face.

"Oh of course!" Mytyl said smiling happily.

"So Jin what's your Septima?" Gunvolt asked

"It's transmutation I can deconstruct , Alter and reconstruct objects into anything." Jin explains

"Wow that's quite the skill" Gunvolt said surprised that such a versatile adept exists.

"I can demonstrate it too" Jin said pulling out a water bottle. And holding his hand over it causing a small light to form in the water once the light dies down the water didn't change . "Here drink it." He says offering it to Gunvolt.

Hesitant at first Gunvolt took the bottle from Jin and began to drink its contents.

"Gunvolt what is it?" Mytyl said curiously

"This is.....soda water?" Gunvolt asked

"Yup you got it!" Jin said "it's not to hard I need to know is what kind thing the substance is made of and then I can alter it. The time needed to do so depends on the object and it's size.

After talking for a while Gunvolt suddenly got a message on his phone it's from Copen.

"Yes copen?" Gunvolt asked looking into his phone

"There's been a problem!" Copen said "it seems that there's been constant terraforming within the city if this keeps up the central building will fall down it could kill millions!"

"Understood me and joule are on the way!" Gunvolt responed turning towards joule "it's eclipse again!" Joule nods understandably "alright then let's go meet up with Copen.

"Wait are you guys leaving?" Emma asked

"Yeah duty calls but let's meet up later I wanna introduce you to a close friend of mine" Joule said

"Okay then good luck" Jin said As Gunvolt and Joule head off waving back at them.

"Are you sure we should let them go Jin?" Emma asked.

"Yea besides It's not like We're in any rush to finish the job." He said "Either they deal with them or we do..."

"Okay then shall we go and check on them" Emma said instantly changing into her muse form.

"Yea but we don't get involved unless there's no other choice understood?" Jin stated as a black aura changes his clothes into something more combat capable.

"Right" she said as they both teleported to the battle field.

Copen pov

Me and Lola were on our way to the Clift side laboratory since that's where the origin of the terra forming seemed to be originally coming from.

"Copen do you really think Gunvolt and Mytyl will catch up?" Lola asked me

"Yes I believe so if there's anything I can give Gunvolt credit for is that he has a tendency of doing the right thing no matter what." I said reassuring her "besides I've got you here that's all the help I need."

"Uh right copen I won't let you down!" She said as she was blushing I noticed it but didn't say anything else. I didn't want to distract her from the mission.

After a while we made it to the cliffside lab and it didn't take too long for me to hear a set of footsteps to come our way. Assuming it was an enemy I got my gun ready and aimed only for it to reveal Gunvolt and Mytyl in her muse form.

"Hey sorry if it took us a while" Gunvolt said

"Actually your here right on time we just got here" I said lowering my gun and explaining the situation to Gunvolt.

"So the adept responsible for the terraforming is in that lab?" Gunvolt asked

"Yup and its not gonna stop unless we do something about it you ready?" Copen asked

"Yeah let's go" Gunvolt said

With that we both entered the lab.

Jin's POV

I was following Gunvolt and copen as they entered the lab and began dispatching the eclipse members.
These two could prove rather useful to my mission.

Then suddenly Emma appeared next to me "Jin they have seemed to have taken out 90% of the eclipse forces within the lab." She said

"What already! Then we need yo get moving" I said entering the lab after them.

3rd POV

Gunvolt and copen had finally dealt with the last mech blocking them from their target.

"Well that didn't seem so hard." Gunvolt said

"Yeah that was rather too easy..." copen said pondering.

"Copen is something wrong" joule asked?

"It's okay Mytyl. He's usually like this when he's trying to think ahead." Lola reassures.

"Well it's good to have someone like that on the field." Gunvolt said

"Save your praise for when we actually finish the mission" Copen said turning to the group.

"Right so let's get to it" Gunvolt said receiving a nod from copen and opening the door.

As they entered they saw a man sitting on a throne made of stone.

"Welcome my brothers..." the man said standing up and approaching Gunvolt and Copen.

" So you must be Marcus." Copen said

"Yes I am the raging tremor some would call me." Marcus said rather proudly.

"GV I don't like this I'm feeling something tense within his Septima like he's building something up!" Joule warned

"I'm feeling the same thing Copen" Lola added

"So why are you causing the terraforming in the city I thought you guys were planning on transferring Septima to everybody else?" Gunvolt asked

"Well yes and that changes must be applied to everyone. But because of your meddling we had to improvise. so I'm going to ensure no one has a chance to leave the city before the change can be completed." Marcus explained slamming the ground and pulling out a sword made of stone.

I'll be during the mad Kong's Septima along with "earth shaker" to return both of you to the earth!!!

Jin and Emma were watching the fight completely unseen thanks to Emma's muse abilities (she can make others invisible as long as they aren't attacking)

Jin simply smiled as he saw Gunvolt and Copen begins their battle.

"This better be a good one don't let me down..."

Jeez working on these while balancing everyday life is not getting any easier but I made a promise and im gonna keep it. So expect more chapters soon.
