Her crown had slipped.
Ruby's twinkling like blood,
Once shining gold now tarnished.
Her petticoat soaked in mud ...A queen by nature turned
Peasant by fault
No idea how it began
But that didn't change the resultBorn from riches and beauty
Turned rags and trash
Used to bark out commands
But it was gone in a flashThe pride is still there
The fight is still strong
Yet her crown has slipped
And it's felt so long....
