THE HUNGER GAMES.
EMORI HADLEY was once a girl who's eyes sparkled and smile lit up any room she entered. She was seemingly the light in such a dim world, being somebody from District 2 who actually was against the idea of killing other children. However, when she was reaped for the 72nd Hunger Games she was forced to betray all her beliefs and participate against 23 others for her life, and she came out the only survivor.
She thought her suffering was over and then her older brother volunteered for the 74th games and didn't come back. The remainder of her light faded and she was left a shell of her former self, one who was hellbent on revenge.
With the Quarter Quell coming, she didn't expect the stipulation but it allowed her the chance to do what she wanted, to kill Katniss Everdeen.

Hi everybody!! I just thought I'd add a small note on the bottom here. Throughout this story, Emori will obviously show distaste for Katniss, be irrational and see things her own way — she's a bias narrator.This doesn't reflect how I actually think of Katniss, and I've just been getting comments recently about that so I thought I'd clear it up!
