Calypso walked towards the bed in her rented room once they arrived, waiting for Anita to get her breath back. The case files for what she'd been looking into were thrown hazardly upon it.

"That way of magical travel is still as detestable as always," Anita finally spoke up once the urge to vomit had settled. Callie giggled before she patted the bed next to her for Anita to join.  First, she turned towards her friend and held out a hand for her to take. Anita's hand was smaller than Callie's surprisingly.

She focused on their joined hands and reached out to tug a bit at the ardeur and felt the minute tension that ran through Anita. Once she felt it tugging back, searching for something, Callie pushed a bit of her magic towards it. It greedily lapped it up, so she continued for about ten minutes. Anita shuddered in a gasp before opening the eyes she hadn't noticed she'd closed.

"That felt rather strange. I think I prefer the sex over that though," she commented amusedly.

"I'd imagine so," Callie giggled as she retrieved her hand.

Finally she turned back towards the files and gestured to them.

"This is all that we've got so far. It's a lot but we are still trying to pinpoint who is the responsible party."

"Have you thought that it may be the Fellowship of the Sun? Or the Hunters?"

The Fellowship of the Sun was a volatile group of religious humans who were anti-creature but mostly hated Vampires the most. Whereas the Hunters, primarily targeted shifters but have on occasion been known to massacre whole Covens of Vampires.

"Of course. However, I can't rule out the possibility that it may be a Vampire, shifter, or even a group of witches or wizards. All I know is that whoever did it, knew how to keep the shifters within the circle of fire and that the first known fire that killed an entire pack of wolves was the Hale pack fire. Since there were survivors I thought to question them after inspecting the land for any magical signatures first to rule a witch or wizard out."

"Could it have been a Spark, Voodoo Priestess, Druid, Animator, or Pyrotechnic," Anita asked as she flipped through the files.

"No. As far as I can tell there isn't a single piece of evidence metaphysically to support that supposition. I can sense any form of magic and that land only held a slight hint from what I can only guess was their emissary and the latent magic within the wolves."

"Can I get a copy of this? I'll ask some of my contacts and see if anyone has heard anything about this."

"Sure," Callie agreed before copying the files for Anita. "You seem as though you might know who did this."

"At first I thought it might have been Edward but you know how he is. I doubt he would use mountain ash to kill the wolves so easily. He would probably try to take them all on with a flamethrower instead if he was going the fire route."

Edward was an Executioner like Anita. He was as apathetic as they come. Sometimes Callie wondered if the man would try and hunt her and Anita down to a true battle of strength to see who was better. And by that, she meant he wanted to probably kill them. It was bewildering since the both of them were probably the closest things he could consider to be friends.

"True," she chuckled in agreement.

"I should get back. The guys will be worried since the last they knew was that I was working a case in town."

"Alright. I need to get back to sleep anyways before going to try and speak with Peter Hale later today."

Anita said her goodbyes and left before Calypso fell back into morpheus' arms.
