I was woken suddenly by the sounds of yelling, and I looked out the window, and people were running up to a house that was on fire. Then the rest of my family woke up, and we ran after everyone.

I grabbed a bucket of water and threw it on the house that was lighting up the night sky.

"Everybody stop, there gone, save the water. Let it burn." Jeramiah yelled.

I felt someone touch my shoulder, I turned around and saw Troy.

"You good?" he asked, out of breath.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Are you?" I asked, knowing he hid his feelings a lot.

"Yeah, it's just I knew the couple that lived in the house for my whole life." he sighed.

Troy had already went through so much pain, and it hurt me to see him go through even more. I wrapped my arms around his broad shoulders and laid my head on his chest, where I could hear his fast heart beat. His body stiffened at first, but it then relaxed as he wrapped his long arms around my waist, and laid his head on top of mine. His heart beat returned to a normal pace, and it felt nice to have a normal moment with Troy, until we were of course interrupted,

"Grace, come on!" I heard Nick yell. I pulled away from Troy and looked at Nick, who was giving Troy a death stare.

"See you tomorrow." I said to Troy.

"Goodnight." he replied.

"What is going on with you and Troy?" Nick asked, accusingly.

"Nothing." I replied, laughing at his stupid question.

"That sure didn't look like nothing!" he shouted.

"I'm not allowed to hug someone when there upset now?" I yelled back.

"Not Troy, he doesn't have any feelings." Nick replied.

I was getting more annoyed at Nick by the second, so I decided to go and meet Gretchen at bible study.

"Hey, sorry I'm late, I got caught up." I said as I climbed down the ladder, even though I wasn't planning on coming.

"Its ok." Gretchen replied, handing me a glass of vodka and the bong.

We got drunk and high, then had a conversation with Geoff, until we all decided to go home.

I was way more drunk than the other night, and I could barely walk. Luckily, Jake saw me and rode up to me on a quadbike.

"You do not look in the state to walk all the way back." he said, laughing.

"You don't say." I laughed, slurring my words.

"Hop on, I'll take you back." he said, starting up the quadbike.

I got on the back, and he drove me back to the cabin.

"Thank you Jake." I said, as he walked me to my bed, as I struggled to stay on my feet.

"No problem, goodnight Grace." he said smiling, as he walked out.

As soon as my head hit the pillow, I blacked out.

The next morning, the sunlight woke me up, so I got up and got dressed.

"Mom's about to leave." Nick said, as he opened the door. Even though me and my mom hadn't talked since I called her a hypocrite, (which I still didn't regret) I decided to go out and see her.

"Feeling a little rough Grace?" she asked as I walked up to her, probably looking like I was half-dead. "Party all night, you're gonna pay the price."
