The light crept in through the blinds, causing me to wake up. I sat up and saw Troy peacefully sleeping beside me. I quietly got up and found some clean clothes, then walked out of the room. I saw Nick sat outside eating some canned chocolate pudding.
"Can I have some?" I asked.
He got some on the spoon and handed it to me, it was the tastiest thing I had eaten since before the apocalypse.
"Sounded like you and Troy had a lot of fun last night." Nick giggled like a teenage girl.
"Shut up." I said, feeling my cheeks heat up.
"So, will you come back with us?" Nick pleaded.
"What if my mom finds out about what Troy did?" I questioned.
"Only you, me and him know about it. I wont mention anything, I promise." He told me.
"I'm not worried about you saying anything. Troy's the one who can't keep his mouth shut."
"Wow, thanks." Troy scoffed from behind me.
I rolled my eyes, not taking back what I said, because even Troy knew it was true.
"Troy, do you promise to not mention a word about what you did?" Nick asked the taller man.
"I wasn't going to anyway." He said.
"Do you promise?" Nick repeated.
"Yes, I promise." He sighed.
"Mom won't want Troy with us, neither will Walker." I told him.
"Mom wont care that Troy's with us as long as your there, and I'm sure she'll make Walker lighten up to him." Nick reassured me.
"Fine." I sighed.
"Ok, lets get moving then." My brother said happily.
We all got into the truck, Nick and Troy in the front and me in the back. Nick drove off, and the thirty minute long journey was spent in a comfortable silence.

We gave over a few guns and canned foods to get us into the stadium, then my brother went off to find mom and I sat at the bar with Troy.
"You don't trust me." Troy stated, as if I had no reason to not trust him.
"You think I don't have my reasons?" I scolded, reaching into my pocket and pulling a cigarette out of the pack I had found at the house.
I lit it up, and took a puff. I looked over at Troy who gave me an almost disgusted look.
"What?" I questioned irritably.
"Put that out." He demanded.
"Why?"
"They're bad for you and they're disgusting, so put it out." He repeated.
"You don't own me." I rolled my eyes.
"Mom wants to speak to you." Nick said, sitting beside us, before me and Troy could argue anymore.
"Okay. And please don't let him do anything stupid." I said to Nick as I stood up and walked off.
I eventually found my mom in one of the small rooms.
"I'm so glad you came back, it was the right decision." She hugged me. I then pulled out of the hug as I spotted Ofelia lying weakly on the floor.
"What happened to her?" I asked urgently as I kneeled beside her.
"She got bit." My mom answered.
Ofelia slowly opened her eyes and looked up at me, "Grace?"
"I'm here." I said, tears spilling out my eyes.
