They had finally arrived. At the training camp, that is. It was late, 6pm, and they weren't going to get any training in that day. The two Lieutenant Colonels were sat upon the hood of one of the troop cars, above the large crowds of soldiers they were to train. Bernard was almost finished counting the elves with a clipboard while Carbon was waiting for the troops of the South Pole to arrive, sitting aside her coworker as she chewed on her gloved hand gently. Around them was a series of training events, all fit with obstacles, and cabins for all of the elves who were to fight. She had called her troops in, and they were to arrive in a few moments, considering that Krampus decided to risk using magic to get them across to the North Pole. Carbon was new to the place, the South Pole had never needed a training camp for their soldiers since in their brains were they programmed to fight, programmed to be violent and unpredictable. But she knew it'd be good for them to learn some discipline, something she knew a lot of the elves in her troops lacked.
Just as Bernard had finished counting, the loud roar of many military cars startled him and many of the other elves, but Carbon knew who to expect."That'll be them," she said as she jumped off the hood of the car, turning back to Bernard briefly, "be ready to deal with the equivalent of toddlers with behavioural issues."
Her warning was taken by Bernard with a nod as he too jumped off the hood of the car and followed her.
Recklessly, a few dozen military cars rolled up and skidded to a park, before tonnes and tonnes of dishevelled, punk looking elves piled out. Bernard had never seen anything like this, facial piercings, dyed hair, ripped clothes, spikes, leather, and god were they rowdy. Some were screaming and cheering, some had death metal still blasting from the cars, some were even starting to rough house. It truly did peeve him, but he held his composure for the sake of being professional as he held his hands behind his back formally, standing a little behind but beside Carbon.
That was when a group approached the lady.
"Carbon! We thought you died!" A man took a hold of her hand and roughly bumped shoulders with her, the lady smiling mischievously as she returned the greeting.
"Not yet Torque, it's nice to see you all again though."The so-called Torque was maybe around the same height as Bernard, but he certainly looked different. With one side of his head shaved while the rest of his burgundy hair dangled over his cryptically yellow eyes, he had a ripped up denim vest but bared no shirt and leather pants. He wore flashy bright green boots, and had wrist bands and bracelets all up his arms almost to his elbows of the same colour.
"We really missed you! It's so boring at the factory without you!" A younger girl exclaimed as she jumped up beside Torque.
She was certainly interesting. Protruding from her head was long long long blonde locks of hair that were tied up in two giant pigtails, and clipped to each pig tail was the head of a stuffed animal. Her outfit was a little revealing, her skirt was pink and extremely short, her midrif being the same colour but also having plastic see through sleeves that covered her hands. She had fluorescent pink thigh high socks with black leather doc marten boots, which had laces the same colour of her socks. There were small pink star tattoos decorating her face, and her eyes were the same colour as Torques, a cryptic yellow.
"Your ex boyfriend was being a real dick when you were gone, I can't believe Krampus put him in charge. But Carbon lets us smoke on the job, well Carbon's not here, is she? Fucking prick," Another boy of the group had spoken up.
He was a metal face, septum, snake bite, bridge, arcade...his face was decorated in piercings. His ears too. His hair was dyed blue and black, but his eyes weren't visible considering he had a pair of circle framed sunglasses on. The boys outfit was of a band shirt with cut off sleeves and a leather vest and leather pants, and his boots matched Carbon's. He was probably the least intimidating of the three, but Bernard was still obviously peeved.
