61: I'm Sure/Rack

Walking into Rye's ein I saw him sitting on his sofa, reading a book. Completely delved in it, he didn't notice me at first. I came up from behind him. Crawling over the backrest and flopping down next to him. The brown hair wrapped an arm around me and pulled me closer. "You okay bubs?" I nodded and pushed myself even more into his warm body. Hiding my face in his neck, breathing in his calming scent. "Exhausting day?", he asked. "Mhmm, too long.", I mumbled. "Aww, it's alright baby. We can just cuddle if you want." He kissed my head and I closed my eyes contendly.

As peaceful as this was, there was still a problem. I had these feelings for him. But I wasn't sure. I mean Rye is basically perfect. From his caring cuddled and the late night talks we had to his hardworking self. I loved the way how his brown curls fell over his forhead and nearly into his eyes. His gorgeous brown orbs. But still, I wasn't sure yet. Did I really like him or was it just appreciation for his doing.

Over the next I've decided to spend more time with the other three. Cuddling with Brook in the evening, cooking dinner with Sonny, hanging with Andy at the studio or other things. I could see that Rye wasn't very happy about that, maybe even jealous. But I needed the time apart, to get a hold of my feelings. Sort them out and become clear about what I feel.

When I came back from a run another few days later, I saw sitting in the living room. He looked up when he heard me. A sad look in his eyes. Quickly I went upstairs to take a shower and change. Standing under the rain of warm water I couldn't get the sad brown eyes out of my mind.

After finishing my shower and getting dressed I went downstairs. Rye was still sat on the sofa. Staring straight ahead at nothing. I sat down next to him and wrapped my whole body around his. His arms found their way around me subconsciously. I sicher contendly. I missed him. We were laying like this for a while. Breathing in his scent got me to calm down. I could feel my eyes drop from exhaustion and only minutes later I was gone into dream land.

I slowly came back to consciousness as I was being moved a bit. Carefully I looked and noticed that I was being carried up the stairs and into my room by Rye. He placed me down on the bed and was about to turn around, but I quickly grabbed his hand. "Please stay." Rye crawled unser the covers next to me. I snuggled into his warm body and he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me even closer. We stayed like this in silence. Comfortable silence. My breath got calmer and calmer. I really wanted to sleep Bug I had the feeling that I had to say something to him about the last week. Why I didn't do much with him and such. I owed him that.

"Rye..", I whispered into the silence. "I know you were sad the past few days because I spent so much time with the others, but I needed some time to think and I couldn't do that with you around. You are just so distracting." I could hear Rye chuckle, his breathing was fast and he was a bit tense. Maybe nervous about what I was going to say. "But I just wanted to say, I like you too."

"I never told you that I like you", the brown eyed said. "I felt it", I said ans couldn't help but smile. Rye smiled back at me. We started into each others orbs. Then slowly he started leaning in. I closed my eyes and soon our lips touched. His tasted so sweet, I immediately got addicted. I wanted to kiss him forever but he pulled away after some time. He pulled me into his chest so he was spooning me, his arm draped over my waist. I closed my eyes, my breathing calmed aber I fell asleep peacefully and happily.
